Dr. Wren first found bladder cancer for me in 2007, in 2016 and again in 2017. All three times he and the staff removed the cancer and with BCG treatments I have been cancer free. My latest cystoscopy was August 20, 2021 with a negative evaluation. I will never move from South Jersey unless Dr. Wren moves, and then I will move to the town where he will practice.

Spare yourself a lot of frustration and headaches and look for another Urology Group, not just Dr Wren . I have never seen or worked in a practice that is run like that group and I worked in a few . The place ( Dr Wren is the big boss who told me himself that nothing happens without his approval) is only interested in money, impossible to reach if you need something done that doesn’t require a formal appointment such as refills or paperwork. Even the staff that answers the phone is rude once you are no longer profitable. I wish I could give 0 stars. I just hope that you head my warning . I should have read reviews before going to Dr Wren. Look for yourself on other review pages, I should have !

I urge you to read the reviews as I too have found THEY DON'T CARE. There is a reason that this doctor and his staff have received so many low ratings. They are absolutely horrible with regard to care for their patients. I have had 4 procedure dates cancelled after covid restrictions were lifted, two in July. When calling back to re-schedule you get their voice mail. If you are lucky, someone might call you back. I am waiting for over a week to hear from the office manger. With each procedure date, current test results like blood, EKG and covid have to be current. Re-testing is required before the procedure. They certainly are not going to pay for the cost of re-testing. Again...THEY DON'T CARE.

I had a horrible experience with this Dr. Wren. He told me i had an enlarged prostate just so I would agree to prostate surgery. When i went to University of Pennsylvania they analyzed my ultrasound results of my prostate and told me that my prostate was not in fact enlarged and they asked me why i had prostate surgery when it was not needed. Prostate surgery is a very serious surgery for a man. It changes him. The prostate has a lot to do with a man's energy , bone density and sexual drive. You do not have it unless it is extremely necessary. This Dr. Wren acted as if it is no big deal and nothing to worry about. This was a total lie. This Dr. is all about your money and medical insurance. He should have explained to me all of the side effects of prostate surgery instead he hurried me through and used his assistants to agree with him to influence my decision. In my opinion this Dr. Wren and his office are dangerous and don't care one bit about your health and welfare. Stay away!

"with" the Dr - very quick and to the point; never "SAW" or "TALKED" to a Dr ever again from his group; Jersey Urology! Worst experience ever. I wish I had read the reviews before I chose Jersey Urology. I presented him with my blood work from Dec 19 and he looked at, said ok, gave it back to me. He prescribed meds in which I took for 1mnth; performed another test; &received a call informing me my "levels" went up. I had another appointment 3wks. A week later, I saw my blood work and in reality my "levels" went DOWN, not UP. I actually felt good about this. 2nd visit, was an ultrasound and then took me into an exam room. Cassie, the physician assistant, showed up (NOT the Dr). Said "levels" went up and I needed a surgical procedure. I told her my "levels" went DOWN not UP. She did NOT have correct info? Why not? What happened to it? At this point, I asked to see the Dr and she said "You are SEEING me today". I had to ask about ultrasound results, she didn't tell me. Do NOT see them

Dr gets a 5 star, but office gets only 1 from me, so I averaged it out to be a 3-star review because I think Dr. Wren is awesome; however, his staff is not . . . very rude and unhelpful. Their system is terrible . . . you rely on the office staff to translate your questions and concerns to the doctor, in the exact manner you have expressed, and then hope they are capable of making certain the doctor clearly understands said message and making sure it has been answered correctly and fully before returning a call back so to avoid unnecessary back and forth conversations. It is very frustrating when you cannot "speak" directly to the doctor over the phone to translate your message in your OWN words and clarify his answer. They treat the doctor as if he's some celebrity who has no time and is unable to make exceptions for his patients based on their individual needs. The office manager NEVER returned my phone call after 2 coordinators yelled at me.

This practice is the worst. Do yourself a favor and stay away. All about profit not patient care. Whoever manages this practice has no respect for patients. If a Dr. is not fully booked up with patients that day or not enough patients scheduled to bring in a tech for your testing you will get a call a few days before your visit that it needs to be re-scheduled. They will give the excuse, Dr had surgery, or tech was sick, etc. Profit first YOU second. Office staff stressed! Even Dr's are fleeing!

Dr. Wren is about billing and money. He does not have patient's well being at heart. It will be clear within minutes of speaking to him. You are basically asked to show up three times or more so he can bill the maximum he is able to. He asks you to schedule a follow up six months down. There is no staff to greet you when you arrive. Instead, a portal awaits you to complete all the necessary paperwork and then escorted in. I will not be returning back to his group.

Very challenging to make appts and/or get information from Jersey Urology. They refer people to the patient portals which do not work for my mother who is 87. They have a computer log in in the office which (again) does not work for my mother. They do not have a female doctor in their practice. They charge for missed appointments. Dr Wren and his associates need to improve their communication with their patients and adopt better bedside manners.

Mixed- this is dr Jeckel and mr Hyde.does not explain observations and rejects patients coping ideas. The office is run like the DVM and has no tolerance for patients concerns- operating impersonal kiosks and dealing with disgruntled employees laid to waste by the doctor's ruthless exactions to government changes. If late a few minutes by circumstances beyond patients control, expect to have appointment cancelled. This office has no compassion, no tolerance and no respect for patients.
