Dr DiMaio performed my left hip replacement 2 years ago. Surgery successful of course. Dr. DiMaio is probably strongest attention to detail. He covers all possibilities, pre- and post- surgery . Follow- ups also enjoyable. He and staff are un-matched in their field.-Dan

Dr. Dimaio performed a total hip replacement for me. Prior to the surgery I was walking with a limp and in a lot of pain. Ten weeks later I walk 5 miles a day pain free. He is the definition of RUDE and condescending. Has NO bedside manners whatsoever but he does have a HUGE ego!

Saw Dr DiMaio within minutes of my arrival. Parking and access were great, no barriers. Dr DiMaio explained I needed to see the doctors who treat me and get surgical clearance. He saved my life because my cardiologist found I had a life threatening issue. If it wasn’t for Dr DiMaios high expectations and particular requirements I could have seen a Dr who just wanted to operate on me with no thought of my health history.

Dr Demaio performed knee replacement surgery and I’m doing very well. I didn’t experience severe pain. I will have my other knee replaced and I will again ask Dr. Demaio to do the surgery. Dr Demaio is direct and to the point. Office staff are professional and courteous.

Dr. Dimaio & all of the staff were so professional & welcoming! Highly recommend this office & especially Dr. Dimaio who has so much knowledge & compassion! I felt very comfortable with him & he was extremely thorough & really helped me to get better!

He's a nightmare. Plain and simple. The office staff is caring and lovely but if you are interested in seeing a surgeon who shows compassion and caring for his patient, he's not your man. Dr. DiMaio is a horrible human being who unfortunately feels no discomfort in making patients cry and staffers fearful of his wrath. I have personally seen this first hand and its unacceptable. His staff lives in constant fear of him. There are a number of other equally talented surgeons who deserve your business.

My experience was terrible. I need a total knee replacement, but the doctor would not operate on me until I lose weight. Once it was determined that I was not an immediate surgical candidate, the doctor was very dismissive to me. Referred me a Bariatric surgery practice that was out of network with my insurance company ( he told me they were). He spent about 30 with me after he read my X-ray, only telling me that my knee was shot. No further explanation, no recommendations as to how to safely ambulate until I lose the weight and have the surgery. A few days later I called the office to discuss that issue. I was told that the PA would call me back, which was fine. What was not fine was I was told that the PA would call me back. I made my first call on Tuesday but did not speak to the PA until Thursday afternoon. The office staff are very nice but I expected a call back the same day I called . I think they can do better, but the doctor needs to improve his attitude.

Dr. DiMaio, is a “no-nonsense” doctor. His approach was to examine me, review the x-rays with me and then give me all of the information that I needed, so I could make an informed decision. I had a few question - he answered patiently. This approach saved a lot time during our first meeting and prevented my asking “foolish” questions when you had addressed almost everything. Not warm & fuzzy - he is CONFIDENT and the confidence MADE ME feel confident! Remarkable surgeon.

I cannot praise Dr. DiMaio enough. My new knees are terrific and I will be doing a hip replacement with him soon.

Dr. DiMaio is an unpleasant man. He is rude, nasty and needs a bedside manner. I implore him to treat patients as human beings and not just a number. He has made me cry more than once.

Dr Dimaio is fantastic surgeon. I am a 69 yr old female who had a total knee replacement. After 3 months I walked 3 miles with no pain. Before the surgery I could barely walk 1/2 block. Thank you Dr Dimaio and also thank you Bobby his wonderful assistant for taking such good care of me. I recommend them very highly.

I thought he was the nastiest person i ever met. I think he thinks hes God. You can not ask him any questions, He will tell you how great he is. I am not sure if I am going to have him operate on me. If he yells again at the next visit I AM DONE WITH HIM.

I have only praise for Dr Frank DiMaio. I had not 1, but 2 total knee replacements both performed by Dr DiMaio. The first knee replacement I was 77 years old and the second knee at 80. Thanks to Dr DiMaio I live pain free. It's easy to get an appointment, no long wait once your there and his staff is just as great. Dr. DiMaio is awesome, trust me you will have excellent results.

Very efficient office. Very thorough and informed me of everything. I had a total hip replaced with no problems. Dr DiMaio was the best. Everything he promised was true. Very little pain. Fast recovery. I would highly recommend DrDiMaio for this surgery.

Excellent Experience. Doc really knows his stuff....I am a woman over 70. I can walk and move and dance better than I have been able to in the last 5 years. My outcome is far superior to colleagues and friends; using HSS or Lenox Hill. All presurgical concerns were efficently and acurately addressed.Doc guided & supported my rehab choice. Excellent follow up.
