Dr. Frank Hwang, MD

You feel like he sees your surgery as a med student lab animal experiment. He gives himself the ultimate CYA: 'I'll give it a TRY. I would give anyone a TRY'. Witnesses heard him say this and we humans must live with the results of Hwang's experiment the rest of our lives. I don't know this doctor to confidently 'give HIM A TRY!'

A whole 5 minutes was spent with me and never even examined my eyes. He has zero empathy and doesn't even listen. Only ordered student doctor what to do with me.

I am very pleased to report that my vision has improved way beyond my expectations after the pain-free cataract surgery that Dr. Hwang performed November 28, 2023.I can easily read license plates, emails and online stories. Small text on my computer is not only legible from 32 inches away, it is very sharp. I have not seen small text and details in scenery at different distances this legible and well defined since age 11 -- for the past 52 years. All of this is without wearing my eyeglasses.I appreciate his high degree of skill and knowledge.I am very grateful for his brilliant work in restoring my vision. I live alone and do not have any family to drive me around, and so I had thought that I would be stuck in my house for the rest of my life. Now, however, because of Dr. Hwang, everything is possible: I can read, travel, go to events and museums, hike and play basketball.Dr. Hwang not only restores vision, but also hope and joy. I give my highest recommendation.

I can't say enough about how professional this doctor is in every way I can describe. Between my extreme nearsightedness and my cataracts condition, my eyes were in bad shape. I was exceptionally nervous about anyone messing with my eyes. But Dr. Hwang was exceptional making me feel comfortable in the process of going through this. My vision and eyes now are almost perfect. I am really amazed at the transformation. It is the closet thing to a miracle I have experienced. Fantastic!
