Dr Plate performed my wife's hip replacement surgery. We found him to be the most comapssionate, caring and capable surgeon, answering our questions prior to the operation, performing the operation himself, and visiting my wife several times after surgery, going above and beyond by providing the care and attention he deemed necessary to ensure a smooth recovery with minimum pain. I wish I could give him 10 stars. We highly recommend him.

Dr. Plate replaced my left hip. I can't say enough good things about his professionalism, demeanor, passion and care. I credit my quick recovery to his expertise for the most part. Obviously there are other factors to surgical healing but his attention and care was the biggest factor. Thank you!

Dr Plate quickly diagnosed my hip arthritis and bone deformities requiring total hip replacement during my initial visit. He explained the procedure and process extremely well and the surgery was scheduled within weeks. After care was excellent utilizing physical therapy, office visits, and a constant contact online app. My knee on the same leg had been badly injured playing sports more than 40 years ago. The hip rehab made clear it was time for that unstable, painful joint to also be replaced. Dr Plate was definitely my choice for the knee surgery. Two joint replacements in two months, both very successful. I have great appreciation and respect for Dr Plate’s skill as a surgeon and use of the latest technology.

Dr. Plate performed a total knee replacement by using the robotic system in February. What a fabulous procedure! Dr. Plate thoroughly explained the surgery to me and patiently answered every question I had making me feel excited about a future without debilitating arthritis pain. My procedure went flawlessly, and Dr. Plate was right! I am feeling better than I have in years! I feel so fortunate that Dr. Plate was recommended to me, it’s hard to imagine anyone else performing my knee replacement. From my first appointment where Dr. Plate joyfully came into the room and introduced himself, to every post-op visit since, he has been professional, friendly, informative and supportive. I came to Dr. Plate with my second broken hip revision in a row. I also had 6 infection in my hip and thigh.At or first meeting I knew I had a doctor who would help me. Dr. Plate was the second doctor I worked with. He guided me step by step to clear up the infections, took the revision out and had me heal. Once the infections we gone and I had healed, he put in my third hip revision. Through all this Dr. Plate was always there. He let me make decisions about my care and even called me the day before the final surgery. Once in the hospital, I saw him everyday. He spent time talking to me. Dr. Plate was very through with everything he did. Our motto was. slow and steady. Dr. Plate truly saved my life. No one said it but we all knew how sick I was when I got to him. He has exellenct bedside manners. He listens to you and makes you part of the plan. I love this man. I am walking today because of him.
