Dr. Frank Totta, DO

Dr Totta took plenty of time to answer my questions and address my concerns. I felt that I was in competent hands.

Staff very uncooperative in trying to get a follow-up appointment.

Spent 6 days in the hospital prepping for a colonoscopy. Nothing to eat, only water, Go Fresh and more water. On the sixth day a CNA made a tiny mistake and Dr Totta refused to do the procedure and wanted me to wait until the next morning. I got up and left the hospital, weak, faint and confused because all the vitamins and nutrients had been washed out of my body. Took me 4 days to recover from this and I hadn’t had the colonoscopy. I felt like a piece of meat.

Dr Totta was very professional, kind and answered all my questions and concerns.

Very caring, knowledgeable, professional and would trust him completely.

I have had wonderful experiences with Dr. Totta with my colonoscopies. However, I made an appointment with him for another problem and approximately 2 weeks later his office staff called to say he could not see me because of a procedure he would be in during the time of my appointment. The scheduling office never answers the phone so I called and left a message to reschedule. After ten days when they had not returned my call, I called them again. (This is despite their warning to not call them often). She finally offered an appointment 2 1/2 months after my original appointment date. When I told her I could not make that day/time, she acted irritated. I told her I have 3 days during the week where I could come (every week). She said she could not find anything. So, I am looking for somewhere else to go. The rating is because of the office staff.

Dr Totta is always very professional and thorough. He shows concern and listens carefully to my concerns. I would recommend him to anyone who is having GI problems.

Doctor Tata himself is very nice, however after year and half of the same symptoms and simply rerunning the same expensive tests, they were never able to assist my daughter who did have to have her gall bladder out. His office staff however is simply horrific! They overcharge and when the smallest of balances are unpaid $15.00 they refuse to refill medications. Really made us feel as if they are not really concerned or caring about the patients at all, just another money making practice.

Went Into see him once and never got to see him again. had to see a nurse practitioner unless I wanted to wait months to get an appt.. They put me through tons of testing and found things wrong but really didn't work to treat my problem.... now I'm having to seek another gastrologist for treatment ....

Hard to get in to see with a referral. When seen blew off problem as if too busy. Ordered colonoscopy when problem was upper gi. Only when pain was taken seriously. Then passed to another doctor.

i have been having troubles with my bowels and after 2 visit to dr. totta and the cramping is gone.i personally think he is fantastic.i will be forever gratful to him,unfortunatle i had to move out of the state so i can no longer go to him.god bless you dr. totta

I was misdiagnosed after having a colonoscopy, treated for something I didn't have.

I have been seeing Dr. Totta for over 10 years and he has helped me manage my health issues. I am glad that his passion for health care is one that benefits me.
