I was treated by Dr Macedo at the VA pain clinic on 20 july 2018. He examined me, pinpointed the exact source of my pain, explained what he was going to do and treated it with injections. He did a great job, I did not feel much discomfort during the procedure and I have pain relief for the first time in a year. Dr Mercedo has a good bedside manner, and explained what he was going to.I did not feel rushed, he took his time. I would highly recommend him .Very knowledgeable and competent..

I had an appointment with Dr Macedo on 12-13-17 at the Mpls. V.A. hospital. I found him to be arrogant, ignorant, and useless as a doctor. He minimized my medical condition and offered an opinion that opposed the diagnosis of several fine specialists. He said he disagreed with their opinions and tried to say my Traumatic Brain Injury symptoms and spinal pain were normal, age related problems. When I asked how the combination of symptoms have been present for 40 years he had no answer.

He's lucky he works at the VA and can do what he wants. He wouldn't last one day outside it. He's a 'pain' doctor that doesn't treat pain.
