Very bad experience! I was in ER (UKy) with internal hemmoraging. He came in the morning of my release, and told me he was a colorectal cancer surgeon, and needed to examine my cancer. I said ok, but he said first he needed to see my front, after that, he procedded to tell me to roll on my side, and he rammed his finger as far into my cancer swollen rectum as far as it would go, and I mean RAMMED! I screamed told him to stop, and started crying, I was in so much pain it was unbearable, I told him least he could do was lubed first, he said he did, but i don't believe he also never removed his gloves before he left the room. He said unemotionally, 'I'm sorry I hurt you", I don't believe him! When I checked out his creds he is a pediatric emergency doctor, why was he seeing me? Oh, I am female by the way. I am going to file a formal complaint and have this situation investigated, I feel physically abused to the worse extent! I am still hurting, and that was 2 days ago!

Fred Warkentine didn't take a global pandemic seriously and now he plans to waste federal resources to get back home after leaving the country in the middle of a crisis. As a doctor, I'm surprised he thought it was prudent to take his entire family on an international trip at such a time. Really scary, cannot trust his judgement on much of anything else.

Went into the ER with my sick kid. Upon entering the back of the ER, I saw Dr. Warkentine asleep with his head on the counter of the nurse station. Maybe this was not a big deal given the hours doctors work but when he entered the room to look at my child, he was still 90% alseep and was not engaged into the situation and was out of the room within 30-seconds. Not the greatest impression of him.
