Horrible
I’ve been a patient since 2010 or so and I’ve seen so many doctors come and go. I’ve stayed for the last years with Dr Freya Marone. Ive never had so much of a bad experience until yesterday. She was very rude lacked bed side manner. Overall just horrible. You would expect a more thorough and compassionate approach to your healthcare since it’s your pcp.

The office requested I do a follow up in person. I was not feeling well & decided it was a good opportunity  to discuss whether my current symptoms were related to the unusual blood work results or my condition.Dr. Freya Marone dismissed my concerns &interrupted me to where I could not finish a sentence.Although Im an active patient for 3 yrs in office, she said "I don't know what that condition is,that's something for you &your specialist"" This has nothing to do with me "I'm here to refer you out"  what do you want every doctor to know everything?! What do you think they have specialists for?" Belittled,I begged her, in tears, to please listen. I left crying &to date she hasn't heard my concerns, nor asked how I felt.Once home,I had a fever of 103, &by morning I ended up in Urgent Care with a G.I. Virus that had nothing to do with my condition. Her apathetic behavior was not just insensitive, rude &unprofessional,it's  disturbing & dangerous, it could have caused a worse consequence.

HORRIBLE! it was a very short phone call which she was not trying to help me at all!! she basically dominated the conversation and when I told her I would like for her to continue to treat my diabetes she basically said she doesn't treat diabetics, which is a straight up lie! she's been treating my diabetes for a while so I don't know where that came from?? she was quick to refer me to an endocrinologist, huh?? She obviously does NOT CARE about her patients and is very rude and UNPROFESSIONAL. Do not waste your time with this Dr. she is abrupt and will not treat you with respect. I'm giving one star because it does not allow to leave no stars.

took my uncle to see dr. marone because he was in severe pain due to sciatica. my uncle is 67 yrs.old. my uncle asked if she could give him an injection to relieve the pain. he has gotten this before from another doctor and it was certainly not a strange question. dr. marone responded in an extremely rude and aggressive manner that came out of nowhere. I have worked for many years as a medical assistant in bayside for a very popular, busy medical office and have NEVER seen such rudeness.
