I do not ever want anyone to suffer the way my brother suffer from mistakes in colostomy and when cancer spread and patient in serious pain Dr. Turfa gave up on his patient and changed his attitude from kind to careless … he get paid for the surgery that all is matter , very sad

I’ve left multiple voicemails and called everyday this week looking to reschedule an appointment but no one has got back to me. This is very inconvenient and disappointing and you need a bettter receptionist system or website.

Dr. Turfah is well knowledgeable in his field and gives time to his patients.

Dr. Turfah helped make my first colonoscopy go smoothly. I was a bit nervous as can be expected and he reassured me that everything would go ok. He was more than helpful in explaining what exactly was going to happen during the procedure and was clear explaining after the surgery what was found. The receptionists were very helpful in setting up my appointment and were pleasant each time I called. I would recommend him, and his staff.

Dr. Turfah let my husband slip off the OR table twice while he was played dissecting his colon. And then played it off like it was no big deal! He, then lied about my behavior in the surgical waiting room on Thursday, October 8 2020. I didn't get hysterical until I read the surgical report, three days later. And realized what had actually happened. Dr. Turbah was not forth coming with any information about my husband and I feel avoided me. Dealing only with my 68 year old husband. Who is hard of hearing. Was just out of major surgery, in alot of pain and on some heavy medication.

I had to have part of my colon removed. Dr. Turfah walked in the room and introduced himself. He gave me his number to call. When he left the nurse stated that the doctors and nurses at Beaumont hospital use his services. Once I heard that I felt I was choosing the right surgeon and he didn't let me down. He is a excellent General Surgeon and I feel God sent him. I have recommended him to others here at Henry Ford Village.

All I can say is WOW! Dr. Turfa actually called on a Sunday to see how I was. Just returning from a vacation. What doctor does that? An incredibly caring one! Can't say enough, feeling better already thank you. Kim Ammon
