Dr. Fulvia Banu, MD

With this doctor, it is her opinion or the highway. I was very disappointed that she has such little respect for me, her patient. When I had my last visit, we both agreed on a prescription that was working well for me. The very next day, she does not call me, but instead speaks to the pharmacy and has them change the prescription to half of what she had written. With that, I wound up having a prescription for 25% of the recommended maximum daily dosage of the drug. Totally worthless and putting my health at great risk. By the way, the prescription was not for a controlled substance. Just a few months ago, this same doctor gave me a prescription for a drug she had recommended. Turned out it did not work and it made me ill. I can't trust her any longer!

Having surgery can be scary, Dr. Banu assured me and explained everything completely leaving me with confidence to move forward. Witout fear. Dr. Banu has been my Doctor for 7 years. She is second to none... The office is beautiful and welcoming. Love the staff. Dr, Banu and Nancy are outstanding I had the pleasure of meeting them yesterday and can honestly say I have never been to a doctor who took the time to not only listen but to explain things to me. Nancy was great also, it is so rare to find a doctor and her staff who focus on me as a patient. Both Dr. Banu and Nancy are knowledgeable, caring and experienced professionals.

Last week I visited Dr. Banu for an initial visit: I selected her as my Primary Care Physician based on all the excellent reviews I had read, and these were absolutely right! Dr. Banu is one of those doctors who still cares about her patients as individual persons who deserve her complete attention; she focuses on a preventative plan as well as addressing current conditions by ordering all the tests necessary to provide a complete health profile as a starting point. Her assistant Nancy, makes you feel welcome and at ease from the moment you walk in the door: she is thorough and efficient with all the paperwork, lab tests, referrals, and follow-up appointments. The office itself has a warm and inviting atmosphere with a feeling of walking into a health spa. I will definitely trust Dr. Banu and Nancy with all my health needs and will happily recommend Banu Medical Practice to my friends and family.

Beautiful office, great staff and an amazing doctor

Dr. Banu is the most gracious doctor you can find. Acknowledgeable, nice, great bed manners, she is always ready to listen to your symptoms. Her new office in Plantation is classy, clean, and modern. I am recommending her to all my friends.

I don’t usually write reviews, but Dr. Banu was wonderful. This is the first time I’ve been treated by a doctor this amazing. She took time to listen to what I was saying and she helped come up with a solution in no time. It was a lovely office and everyone there was so attentive.
