Dr. Fyama Wenner, MD

I highly recommend Dr. Wenner! She has monitored me through 3 pregnancies, all with healthy births. Her bed side manner is light enough to keep your stress level down , and direct enough to let you understand what's going on with you and baby. She's very knowledgeable and takes her time to explain the details. She adds a personal touch with her cheerful demeanor and radiant smile as she enters the room. I've always enjoyed having Dr. Wenner as my m.f.m specialist. I can not say I had the same or even a similar experience with any other specialist in the practice. She's simply the best!

Dr. Wenner is very informative and thorough. I have a high risk pregnancy due to my history of giving birth preterm. She goes over everything. Highly recommend.

I cannot believe this doctor specializes in maternal-fetal medicine. She has no empathy for parents who have experienced loss and terrible bedside manner. In our first meeting, she made no acknowledgement of our daughter's death at 40 weeks, just 8 months prior to the meeting, and dismissed the assessments of our 2 prior clinicians as to the causation of death when she hadn't even reviewed their full reports / test results or our daughter's autopsy. Her demeanor was cold, uncaring, and dismissive throughout the entire visit. I highly recommend seeking an alternative clinician if you are referred to her.

I visited Dr Wenner while pregnant with my third child. I suffered from obstetric cholestasis in prior pregnancies and it is now back. In consulting with Dr Wenner twice now it seems as though I am the doctor, e.g., trying to argue and convince her that regular blood tests are a must. She can't logically explain decisions and doesn't know how to discuss options. I can't trust her. I had much better care in Connecticut from my regular OB, not to mention high-risk OBs. Scary....
