Dr. Gabriel Umana, MD

He asked a few questions listen for a few minutes and then ordered some blood test. What shocked me was when I got the paperwork and read what he put on there that he recommended he never mentioned anything about any of do you recommendations. If he would have went over all of the so-called recommendations he listed he would probably get a better review from me. He looks good on paper but he doesn't do half of what he's saying he does.

Dr Umana takes his time with every patient- listens to them and does not rush you- I have referred 4 others to him and all love him- highly recommend-

Always takes the time to genuinely listen to all my health concerns! Most importantly, he offers solutions in an acceptable time frame!

Unfortunately because the reviews we recommend our son to go with this doctor and he has not good experience, he got questions where Dr umana answer was "go to see on internet and you will see all information you need !", Very unprofessional, so surprised on it, special when you read all positive reviews ??

Dr. Umana is the type of Primary Care physician I look for. He listened attentively, asked and answered all relevant questions, and referred me to specialists as requested. The visit was brief, yet not rushed. It was a busy morning( several of his regular patients said they had never had such a long wait). Dr. Umana assured me that his practice was going to " take good care" of me. In spite of the lengthy wait, I left feeling confident I had made a good choice.

I was in need of a Primary Care Physician as I had not been seen by a doctor in a while. From setting up my appointment to the actual visit ... amazing! Very personable, caring and knowledgeable. The staff members have been outstanding. He demonstrates his true passion for the care and well-being of his patients. He treats me with respect; listens to my opinions and concerns; he encourages me to ask questions; and explains things in ways I can understand and, more importantly, takes his time and does not rush to get me out of the office.

Dr. Umana has been our physician for many years. He is an excellent doctor, a very good listener, very caring and knowledgeable. We highly, highly recommend him.

He listens to me. Something doctors have forgotten. He saw me taking a dangerous medicine for anti acids and had me correct it immediately. He is working with me to be the healthiest I can be.

When I realized that I may have a potentially dangerous health problem, I called Dr. Umana's office for an appointment. I was seen within two days. Dr. Umana agreed that I did have a serious health problem and immediately contacted a Hematologist/Oncologist medical practice. By 2:30 PM the following day I was seen by a Hematologist/Oncologist There is no doubt in my mind that Dr. Umana very sincerely cares for his patients and will go out of his way to do what ever he can for us. .

We have been a patient of Dr. Umana since May, 2017. There were no problems scheduling an appointment and no long waiting period. The office is very clean and the receptionist and staff were very helpful. The waiting time was less than 15 minutes. Dr. Umana was very friendly and eager to find a solution to our medical problems. He is a good listener and went over our problems thoroughly and so far has made the right decisions in solving our problems. We need more doctors like him.

Moved from Long Island, NY to Ocala and needed to find a new Doctor. So very happy that I found Dr. Umana. He is everything one could hope for in a Doctor.
