Skilled, learned and intuitive.
After years of failed nerve blocks, nerve ablations, fusions, etc. she was the first to suggest trigger point injections which she administered brilliantly. Absolute life changing improvement. I was able to do things I hadn't done in over a decade and on much less oral medications. A genuine treasure.

Dr. Koschorke is a prisoner of Arizona laws
Dr. Koschorke is a prisoner of Arizona laws concerning prescribing opioids. I have peripheral neuropathy, and I too have felt as if I were being treated like a drug abuser by another doctor. I switched to Dr. Koschorke because at least she explained why she was limited as to what and how she could prescribe. See the Arizona Opioid Prescribing Safety web site published by the Arizona Medical Association for details. I will concede that her "bedside manner" leaves a little to be desired, but her resume and research record are outstanding. All things considered, she is as good a pain doctor as you will find.

I had her at the Tucson VA and she did everything She could to help me. She blew the whistle on the VA. The negative reviews are payback, nothing more. 307,000 Veterans died while on the waiting list. If not for John McCain and Dr's like Dr Koschorke it would be many more

Dr. "K" is in Yuma now and her main concern is telling me she will stop my pain meds "IF" and telling me the rules and unwritten rules she has to go by and Oct. is the deadline. Never had a Dr. treat me like I am in danger of losing care at every visit. I use 1 pain med ( hydrocodine) and never use more than I get. Not a drug abuser, no alcohol or weed, no reason I can imagine other than no interest in relieving pain. Meeting a quota of decreasing meds by Oct.?

My last visit I left humiliated and shamed. As a pain management doctor Dr. Koschorke does not support using medical marijuana and low dose opioid medication for spinal stenosis. And lets her personal opinions interfere with patient quality of life treatment. She cancelled my Hydrocodone medication And my blood pressure medication, along with Marion Adams my primary care physician. A year later my blood pressure was 180/140 and I had retinal bleeding. Ignorance by a medical professional.
