We've been very pleased with her as our "new" doctor after having Dr. Godbey for so long. It was an adjustment but she listened to our concerns about our treatment and care under her and she responded in a most positive way. She took no offense at our questions and concerns about her being our caregiver. She listened to us! So many doctors don't do that today. We have recommended her to several of our friends because we feel like she would treat them as she has treated us - professionally, considerately and most importantly like she actually cares and is willing to give us her full attention when we come in. It feels like she even takes a few minutes before she walks in to the exam room to review our charts to be up to speed and that we're just picking up right from the last time we saw her. We feel blessed to have her as our physician and wish all doctors were as caring as she is. She makes you feel like she actually cares about you and your health and that you're not just the next person to check off her list of people to see that day.

Dr. Mavelian is very attentive, thorough, compassionate, easy to talk to, respectful to her staff and cares about me. She had big shoes to fill after Dr. Godbey retired but she's doing great.
