Dr. Gail Gerber, MD

Dr. Gerber has been my doctor for over 25 years and has been through all the changes in my life! She is kind, compassionate, and professional. She is the best doctor I have ever had. Would highly recommend.

Dr Gerber is my gyno and I wouldn’t want to have any or dr bc she’s that good. Answers all of my questions and has so much knowledge that it makes it so easy to find out what works for me.

Dr Gerber is a great Dr. I feel so comfortable talking with her about anything. She is very knowledgeable and helpful and always takes the time to hear me out about anything that is bothering me. The staff are so nice and helpful as well. I never have to wait more than 5-10 minutes in the waiting room which I'm always grateful for. There is a reason I've been going to her for over 30 years!!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Gerber, since 1987. She is compassionate, caring, thorough, and funny. I saw her before I tried starting a family, and she was so helpful when I did start trying, but had problems. She was as excited for me as I was. I have 3 “Gerber” babies, and she still asks about them, at every visit. I have moved out of state, but still come back to see her for my annual checkup.

Dr. Gail Gerber excels at being a physician! It is refreshing to see a doctor love her job and goes above and beyond at all times. She is more holistic and pays attention to what is going on in your body regardless of where it is. She was able to pick up on something going on with my body before it actually developed. I got to know her with working in the hospital many years ago. Dr. Gerber is consummate professional and has a wicked sense of humor. She is beloved by her patients. When my insurance changed. I was lucky enough to get into her practice. I am honored to be able to see her for routine care. She has a wealth of knowledge which is so appreciated. I know I am in good hands! I thought she was maybe in her mid 50's and am stunned that she is 69 years young! It is such a comfort to have a physician of her caliber and experience. She is kind, caring, funny, lives & breathes her job, and a Cubs fan! She deserves a huge party when she retires as a GOAT! Love & highly recommended!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Gerber for 20 years and she is the best! Never makes you feel rushed and truly cares. Will take time to answer questions and explain. Always remembers and asks how the family is doing. Saw her with both of my babies (now 10 and 4). Absolutely the greatest doctor and I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I’ve seen Dr. Gerber for many many years. She is caring, considerate, compassionate, takes the time to get to know her patients, and is very thorough. Dr. Gerber spends whatever time she needs with me and I never feel she is rushing to her next patient. She remembers me, my family, and circumstances personally and asks about them each time I see her.I truly can’t say enough positive things about her! She is the absolute best doctor!

Dr. Gerber is always very kind. She explains her procedures in great detail. She offers advice and spends a lot of time listening to your concerns. She doesn’t make you feel that ANY concerns you are having shouldn’t be concerns. She will offer up a solution that you are satisfied with. I find her very knowledgeable and know I will be heard when I see her.

I have been seeing Dr. Gerber for 18 years. She is the absolute best. She truly cares about her patient's all around well being. I feel fortunate that she was there to deliver both my baby boys who are now 10 and 6.

Dr. Gerber is an extremely personable physician who cares about her patients. She always gives a complete explanation in terms that a lay person can understand and spends as much time as needed at my annual exam. She will personally call me with lab etc results so that all of my questions can be answered immediately. I cannot say enough positive thoughts about her. And ... she has a staff of individuals who are patient-oriented because of the example she sets. They help to make a visit to Dr. Gerber a pleasant experience!

Dr. Gerber is absolutely the best! She is extremely knowledgable, thorough, and kind. Years ago, I developed high blood pressure. She immediately pinpointed the reason: It was because my PCP had prescribed birth control that caused it. My blood pressure was normal again after switching to a pill she prescribed. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Dr Gerber delivered my baby 19 yrs ago and have been with her ever since. And to think I picked her to be my doctor because of her last name lol. What a great decision that was. She's the best.

Diane, the receptionist at the Hoffman Estates location by far all means is the worst person I have the unpleasant luck to speak to. In plain words, Diane neglected my consultation with Dr. Gerber because according to her reasoning it takes too long to verify if I'm actively covered by my insurance. I wanted her to rectify if indeed she was neglecting me care and said "yes, thank you bye" and hung. I was very disappointed by how inhuman this person treated me and felt the need to advise others.

I have been a patient at this practice for past 18 years and have seen Dr. Gerber so many times that I lost the count. She is one extrodinary good doctor. Very knowledgable, personable and straight forward. I feel very comfortable in her care. 14 years ago she delivered my nephew in this world. My sister wanted to deliver my nephew vaginally, but he was breached. Dr. Gerber stayed with her all day helping her and coaching her how to turn him so she can have her wish. She deserve 10 stars!
