Dr. Gale Skousen, MD

What I will give him is that he is very nice and personable. However, for the past 2 YEARS my spouse and I have been dealing with a mystery illness that developed after Covid that essentially debilitates. He had the audacity to tell us after 3 visits that my spouse isn’t a “cripple” and refused to sign documentation about a diagnosis we already had from a previous doctor. Also, he said that our diagnosis doesn’t do anything to the mind, or the stomach, when a simple Google search shows that medical consensus is that they do. Obviously, we’re not going back. If you’re dealing with something that isn’t textbook, or easily solved. Find someone else. Especially if it’s something that causes a family member to not be able to work. He won’t help you.

He takes the time to find out what is wrong. He listens, really listens. He's kind and positive. Super helpful!

I started seeing Dr. Skousen when I lived in Payson and I think he is such a great doctor that I actually travel past several clinics to see him. He is one of those doctors who are caring, understanding and knowledgeable. He has a great network of other Dr's he will refer you to as well.

He was running a little behind, but I never felt rushed. He took the time to ask the right questions & counsel me on a plan. I always feel like he truly cares about me & my health.

DR Skousen makes you feel like your a member of his Family. He uses the humanistic approach, he makes you feel so valued and safe to be able help you resolve any medical and emotional needs or concerns .He has a great knowledge of Medicine and he is exceptional at troubleshooting and diagnosis to get you, and give you the best care and help that you need.

My husband is a patient of Dr. Skousen and my doctor had moved away so when I thought I had a possible bladder infection (I use to get them often) I decided I go see Dr Skousen. He ran tests and determined I didn't have one. He suggested it might be a sciatic nerve issue. So I decided to go see a local chiropractor who came highly recommended. And sure enough an adjustment did the job! Thank you, thank you, Dr. Skousen for listening to my concerns and caring about my health enough to not just simply prescribe an antibiotic because I felt I knew what was the matter. You didn't act like you knew better than me you simply wanted what was foremost. Thank you, you're the Best!
