Could of been a way better experience
I got along with this doctor but he never had any real explanations or solutions moving forward. He seemed really fixated on just giving me ppis for reflux and hiatal hernia. He would refrain from telling me the root cause of the problem. He told me no surgeon would ever take me on as a patient because that the hiatal hernia was too small. I informed him what if I have symptoms and need surgery . He was still insistent on those meds which wasn't the route I wanted to take. I researched that if you have grade c or d esophagitis that you are qualified for fundoplication surgery regardless of a hiatal hernia being present. I been suffering with this condition for over 4 years now and hopefully found a good surgeon to try to resolve my health issues.

I have recently been thinking about Dr Huang who took care of me in the 70’s 80’s 90’s. He diagnosed me with ulcerative colitis when I was 25 or so. He put me on just the right medications. I went in and out of remission for a long time, but always, under his care, I had minimal symptoms. Now that I am 67 my symptoms are completely dormant. Dr Huang is kind, intelligent, and an excellent dr. All one needs to do is listen to him and follow his advice

I have seen Dr. Huang and can attest to his surgical talents. He was recommended to me by another specialty Md with the recommendation that he was highly qualified and "gentle"....yes, I did great after the procedure.

Dr. & his nurses are very rude. They do not care how exposed you are & do not help in covering you up. They do not care about how much pain you are going thru. They do the procedures without any sedation & put you thru all the shame & pain! I still have not heard the results. He left me with a lot of pain. I have never been treated like this before in my life. Beware :(

I recently had a colonoscopy performed by Dr. Huang. He found a polyp and removed it. I called two weeks later to find out if the results were cancerous. My mother died from colon cancer at the age of 62. They did not know the results. I believe his office should have checked with the pathologist to learn the results of the biopsy and inform me of the findings. This is a major error in my opinion.

Worst experiences ever. Went in for a scheduled colonoscopy at 10 am. Went back to the pre-op room 45 minutes later. Nurse did the usual prep things, i.e., attach IV and tabs for EKG. At 11:45, I asked for the nurse. Told her I was done and that I wanted to leave. I complained that nobody had come to speak to me about the delay. The head nurse was brought in. I told her I wanted to leave. At nearly 12 noon, the doctor came in to apologize but did any type of explanation. Worst experience ever!

Here's the thing - my appointment was for a colonoscopy. The last thing that you want to do for a patient, keep them waiting once they arrive at the office. Have been stuck to the day before not to eat lunch or dinner yesterday. Has to fast not eat breakfast all the way up until the time of the appointment at 10 AM. The night before I took a solution then cleansed out my bowels. Took another dose of the solution this morning much further down, purge my bowels. So, Wherever the doctors office, gl
