Dr. Thompson is an excellent doctor. I am deeply thankful for all his care and plan for me this year. When I explained about his care, a friend of mine requested for referral. Dr. Thompson is very attentive, thorough, considering all the options, and great communicator.

This is my first experience, finally working with a Primary Care Provider (PCP) who specializes in transgender healthcare. My commute involves crossing county lines using disability-accommodated transportation and our productive visits are fully worth the trip. I am optimistic about continued rapport building with Dr Thompson and the support staff at the University Village location.

Dr. Thompson is possibly the best PCP I've ever been to. He carefully addressed the full gamut of medical care for a person my age and with my conditions and clearly explained all options and recommendations, allowing me to weigh in on any and all parts of my care. Even when I rejected a recommendation, he accepted and simply explained the recommendation and risk clearly before moving on.

I contacted VMMC because I tested positive for COVID and felt awful. Everyone was very nice, concerned and prompt about getting the script foe Paxlovid. I am beginning to feel better.
