Dr Bayliss saved my life
After suffering for a few years with bad sinus problems, severe joint pain and slow healing leg ulcers, I ended up in the hospital with my lungs in a very bad condition. It was not until then that I found out I was also in stage 4 CKD due to a rare vasculitis, Granulomatosis with Polyangiitis (GPA) Dr Bayliss diagnosed it and put me on high doses of prednisone and as soon as his office got insurance approval he had me start on rituximab infusion treatments. It's been 2 years since that hospital stay and I now feel like a different person and credit Dr Bayliss with literally saving my life. He is very patient, listens to my concerns and takes the time to thoroughly explain everything to me.

Awful, inconsiderate and downright callous
Absolutely horrific treatment by this provider. He cut my pain meds significantly and suddenly and would hear no arguments about it, even though my previous doctor had been safely monitoring the dosage for years. When I tried to plead my case, he effectively compared me to a heroin addict, then proceeded to put further refills "on hold" (translation: a passive-aggressive move, intended to punish) because I had ZERO supply left and had to rely on an older prescription - also his fault, as he delayed on sending the NEW prescription, insufficient for my pain - and sent his nurse to harass me and scold me like a child over the phone. Awful bedside manner, dismissive and rude with zilch in the way of empathy. Talked over me the whole time and did it to a friend as well, who also agreed he was being absolutely ridiculous. I was practically in tears by the end of the appointment and he didn't care at all. Avoid, avoid, avoid if you are a patient in pain and dare to ask for what you need
