Dr. Anderson was too forceful in recommending surgery on my gall bladder. When I said I wanted to give it some thought, he said I shouldn't think for too long as the gall bladder problem could recur anytime. He said I should schedule the operation right away and that I could always cancel. Quite honestly, I felt like I was talking to a used car salesman rather than a physician.

Lack of attention almost proved fatal for me
I am normally healthy, take no meds, and rarely need medical attention. However, I developed a blockage and was thankful when Dr. Anderson removed my gallbladder. I expected to recover quickly. However, I began developing temperature swings of over 105 with intense pain. It would subside for a few days and then peak again. I scheduled a visit back with him to try to get help and figure out what was happening. He came in, said my scars looked good and left! Eventually I learned that I had picked up Klebsiella pneumoniae during the surgery. It has 50% mortality. I became very sick and almost didn't make it. Thankfully, after being sick for several months, I found other Drs who were willing to help me identify it and treat it just in time. Dr. Anderson never showed an interest in my overall condition, helping with it, or learning from what happened. From what I have learned now it sure seems that a little bit of attention could have prevented this or addressed it much more quickly.

He.did. my double Mastectomy in 2012. A very.kind and all around good guy. When I had Brain surgery for Cancer , he demanded to know why he was not notified when he saw my name on the surgery schedule. He really cares for his patients.

Dr. Anderson is the best doctor I have ever been to. He is kind, caring, very knowledgeable, and takes the time to explain everything thoroughly. He does not rush though appointments and always answers all my questions. I would recommend him above anyone else.

I had a Ventral Hernia repair done as an outpatient. Prior to surgery I was reassured that my pain would be manageable before I left recovery. I told the nurse that a certain med works for me but instead she gives me what she wanted. I was still in severe pain when I was sent to another unit. The next day not even 24hrs of my surgery I was in even more pain. Contacted Dr. Anderson and was told to go to the Er which I did to still not get the pain at least bare-able in order for my meds at home to work instead I was told to schedule a sooner appointment. I was better off not even having this surgery or should have just went back to the same surgeon that did my first one

For the most part Dr Anderson’s staff is professional and friendly. Dr. Anderson however, is very condescending! His Sick Leave coordinator Mindy is the most unprofessional and rude medical care worker I’ve ever come across! She’s not the doctor, but is trying to force me back to work when my medical issues haven’t been resolved yet! I’m going to find her supervisor and every other department/agency that I can to file a formal complaint against her. Mindy’s attitude WILL NOT BE TOLERATED!!!

Waited over an hour and a half to be seen by the doctor. Doctor came in the room and spoke with me less than 1 min then sent someone else in to fill out paperwork. No one in the office could give me an amount of time I would need to be off work and was very argumentative about filling out any paperwork for my job. The doctor did not explain anything to me. The office continually reschecdueled my surgery because the doctor was never available when it was schedueled. I found another surgeon.

The Dr performed 2 surgery's on me one for cancer and one for a hernia. Each time he told me what had to be done and he did what he said. He is very professional and a great bedside manner, before surgery he said he prayed for me I still see him every 4 months and he is still the same very pleasant Dr I met 2 yrs ago. I would let him do surgery on me again and I would recommend him to family and friends.

I will tell you about my wife's experience. My wife needs her gall bladder out and was referred to his office by the ER doctor at Kettering, OH. He wouldn't touch her because she had bariatric surgery several years ago. He said that her bariatric surgery was a failure and that he would have to cut her open from hip to hip to remove her gall bladder because he said she had too much scar tissue. This man is a joke with no bed side manner! My wife has been crying since leaving his office.
