Dr. B is Awesome
I was recommended to Dr. Bernard by a friend. Came into the office, was seen fast, everyone was nice and friendly. Dr. Bernard was very straight forward, and took care of all my needs (even the symptoms I didn’t mention at triage) of which most doctors won’t do! That’s definitely something you would want from a doctor, someone to be 100% straight forward with you about your health. I highly recommend this practice!

Cash cow.
Dr. Bernard treated me like a cash cow. Every test that could be run was done. Whether it was needed or not. Scheduled appointments were never on time. Even if you came early so it could be on time. Prescriptions written had some that were compounds so that they had to be filled by his doctor owned pharmacy. Usually the appointments lasted just five minutes. During this time a transcriptionist would be typing it in. I believe he was scheduling what I believed were extra and unneeded. Each time having to pay a copayment of $40. One appointment I went to he chewed me out with every four letter word that could be used in the five minute appointment time. I suspect it was because of bad review I left on line. Needless to say that was my last appointment. I wouldn?t go to this doctor if they were the last one in the world. I have had very good doctors since that one.

This is the worst, most unprofessional group of people I've ever had to deal with. Dr Bernard is constantly trying to sell you his concoctions from his pharmacy. He doesn't pay attention when you speak to him, he always goes back to whatever concoction he can sell you to treat whatever you're there for. If your appt is at 9:15, you might be out of there by 11:30, very long waiting time, they have no concern or respect for your time, nor will you ever hear them apologize for making you wait so long. They have a patient portal that you can make requests through that no one monitors or responds. If you email them with a request, they don't respond, I've emailed numerous times this week trying to get them to fax in a prescription for a mammogram and ultrasound, nothing. I'm also waiting for them to increase my thyroid meds, nothing. Four times this week alone, they don't respond. I'm done, I've already made an appoint with another doctor to be my PCP

Dr. Bernard has been our family doctor for nearly 20 years, and cares for me, my dad, and he cared for my mother before she died last year of cancer. He is extremely knowledgable about his patients, remembers even the tiniest details, combines natural, common-sense medical advice along with medicine. For example, when dad had his two hernia surgeries and struggled with complications and pain, Dr. Bernard recommended a diet that WORKED, and cost dad ZERO. He’s a family member to us.

I have never been so appalled by a healthcare provider and I work in the health care industry. Very unprofessional! He cusses like a sailor and spends little to no time with the patient. I would never recommend!!

Dr Bernard is an amazing doctor. I have read some of the reviews and yes, there is a long wait time. He is a busy doctor with a lot of clients, so there will be a wait. Also, he is very honest, blunt, and upfront. He doesn't beat around the bush, but in today's society where you could be dying and most doctors won't tell you what's going on, I appreciate the bluntness of Dr. Bernard. On top of it all, he's one of the most intelligent doctors you will meet who is like a walking encyclopedia.

wait times are HOURS. I have had the first appointment of the day and was still forced to wait HOURS while pregnant with a toddler. They are slow moving and over book. They only take blood in office and use their own pharmacy (costs me extra money). My family and I will be attending a new doctor from now on.

It is evident from the countless reviews and my own experience, this practice is simply here to make money. You will wait for hours for a 5 minute appointment. You will pay your visit fee of at least $50 and then see what they charged your insurance later (its crazy), it is clear Dr. Bernard is just here for the money-not your health-When the goal is to cram as many patients into an hour. Some of the items he "compounds" are already on the market-he did not invent them as he makes it seem!!!

Dr. Bernard is very knowledgeable and seems to truly want to do whatever he can to help his patients - often requiring him to think outside the box of "traditional medicine". Due to the volume of patients he sees he can sometimes seem rushed, but he has never put me off and has always taken the time needed to hear my questions and ensure my understanding of his response. He is somewhat prone to using profanity (a bit unprofessional) but otherwise a great and caring doctor!

I have been seeing him for over 10 years. Today he berated me and almost put me to tears when I asked simple questions about some of the hormones I was one, concerned about cancer risks. When I asked for the BRAC test that determines if you carry the gene for cancer not only for me but for my daughters benefit he said: what are you going to do cut your boobs off if it comes back positive- I said well yes I would which didn't go over well. Not even reviewing my history or asking my families.
