Dr. Gary Betz II, MD

I’ve been seeing Dr Betz for years and I also see the nurse practitioner occasionally (she is wonderful too). He’s a very kind, intelligent doctor who always listens and explains things in a way anyone can understand. I’m shocked by these negative reviews. It’s almost as if they saw another person. I’ve had excellent care and will continue to receive treatment from him. His office staff is always friendly and professional as well.

Have been a patient of Dr. Betz for over 10 years. Hands down the best GP I've had over my 73 years. Attentive, professional, knowledgeable, and personable. Have referred several folks to him. Puzzled by the negative comments.

This Doctor takes his time, very patient and understanding to my health. Knowledgeable, and very Professional Practice.

Treats you like you're an idiot

This man should be reviewed by the medical board. Horrible doctor and human. I had 1 appointment with him. He was cold, rushed the appointment and found him to be just generally unkind. He sent me to get labs done. I had them done and him or staff never called me to go over them. I had to call them and his assistant told me he wouldn't discuss until I saw a specialist for a health issue I had. He left me hanging with concerns I had from my labs. I think he should have his license removed. I thankfully have a great doctor now so Betz is the exception. Avoid him and his NP Donna Gordy.

This has to be the weirdest experience I have ever had with any physician so it's worth leaving a review. I had only 1 appointment with him. He ordered labs which was good sign. I was notified of the results by Sonora Quest and was waiting for a call back to go over. I never got one so I called his assistant. She told me he wouldn't go over the labs with me until I saw a specialist for another matter.... I was like what ??? Then she puts me on hold and says well if you want to go over them I guess I can schedule you an appointment ?? I just said never mind. Either something is odd about how he deals with labs or he needs to hire new staff. I have never been told a doctor wouldn't go over labs before with me unless I really wanted too... To his assistance, You need to grow a brain.

Dr. Betz is fantastic. Have been seeing him for several years now and have always been given all the time I need, am treated very well by all staff and will certainly continue to come back as well as recommend him to others.

I am shocked at the above reviews. I always found Dr. Betz to be more than thorough and he always answered my questions in a non-rush style. I have always felt comfortable with him.

Dr. Betz was my primary care doc for about 1 year. I went to him with progressive fatigue and general symptoms of not feeling well. He did run a few blood tests, then diagnosed me with depression. I begged him to find out what was causing my physical symptoms, that while i agreed I was depressed, the depression was caused by constantly feeling tired and sick. He said "come back in six months and well see how you're doing". I fired Dr Betz, found a new doc, was diagnosed with Hoshimoto's.

Dr. Betz ran a gamete of blood tests when I came to his office to have ONLY my thyroid tested, which I have done every 6 months to adjust my medication for my hypothyroidism. This included about 10 extra tests which all came back negative. (All for hormones and ovulation at age 40!!!) The bill was over $1500! He is all about making $$$$ and doesn't care for his patients. His appointments are always double booked with Medicare and Medicaid physicals.

Very happy with Dr. Betz. He is knowledgeable, professional, thorough and answered all my questions. His bed-side manner is a bit austere but he exuded confidence. I was extremely pleased with his office staff.

A real clock watcher,does not seem to care a hoot for his patients welfare,strictly a Dr Dollar type.Front office is RUDE !!! Appears that the Doc has no control over their actions or doesn't care.Had far superior care from the Government and Military.Looking for a new Doc;will never go back to this rude "kid" again. Save yourself time and start elsewhere.Never forget his first words to me,We don't have time for this",,now that is a caring healer.

Thorough and excellent listener. Asked probing questions about broad areas of health.

Kind. Looked at me when ingaged in conversation. Took a person interest in who I am.
