Dr. Gary Field, MD

I've had many doctors throughout my life, and Dr. Fields is by far the best. It took me over 35 years to finally find an endocrinologist who knows what he's doing because he too lives with Type1Diabetes. He personally contacts me through MyChart or by phone to discuss my blood test results and other healthcare concerns. I don't have to go through his staff to get answers for my questions.I've never had a long wait; in fact, I'm usually called back before settling into the waiting area. The lab also has a great system that gets you in and out quickly. Don't be intimidated by the crowded waiting room; they call back several patients at a time, so you'll be called quickly.I had to move out of state but I couldn't stand the thought of losing him as my doctor so I fly back twice a year for my checkups. The ONLY drawback is that it won't be easy getting in to see him for the first time; there will definitely be a long wait to get established as a patient.

Dr. Gary Field has years of experience. This doctor will not disappoint you. He focuses his attention on your care and somehow he finds a way to make you smile during your appointment. He is the best.

Dr. Gary is highly intelligent but able to put things in terms you can understand. He’s also realistic in goals you are able to achieve. You never feel like you’re being rushed and he listens. Thank you for your professionalism and continued care.

My appointment started earlier than scheduled, which was a happy surprise. Dr. Field is pleasant and personable. He addressed all concerns. He called later that day, as promised, with my test results. I highly recommend him.

Three things stick out in my mind, He is a very caring Doctor. When you do blood work with him, he will call you with the results, not his staff. His staff also is caring and professional.
