Beyond exppectations
Dr Decelter was recommended to me by three different MD's. They knew what they talking about. Superb physician. Goes the extra mile for his patients. Staff is great, especially Melanie.

On November 10,2018 Dr. Gecelter and his senior partner Dr. Rubach saved my life in an eight hour operation to repair a strangulated hiatal hernia. There are no better words to describe my gratitude to Dr. Gecelter and his staff who were woken at 3 am and responded to St Francis Hospital and worked diligently to prevent me from dying and or losing my stomach.

Dr. Gecelter is one of the best. Dr. Gecelter was part of my surgical team that performed a 9 hour Surgery on me for Esophageal Cancer. I could not have asked for a better surgeon. Dr Gecelter was awesome and went above and beyond for me not to mention saved my life. I can't thank him enough and I highly recommend Dr. Gecelter to anyone that has to have surgery performed. Dr. Gecelter is a wonderful doctor and a great person. My care was so good that I recovered way ahead of schedule.

2 years ago very difficult hernia surgery was done perfect w/out any complication. No pain what so ever. I would call Dr. Geselter "GOLDEN HANDS" and recommend to any one. Thank you Doc.

If I could give zero stars I would! Dr. Gecelter has ZERO bedside manner. He treated me like I was stupid, and spoke to me in the most condescending way. I will absolutely never go back to him, anyone in his office, nor will I recommend him to ANYONE. Don't waste your time!

Dr. Gecelter has an amazing bedside manner. He is professional, knowledgeable, and kind. I am sure I am not his only patient who was nervous upon the visit. He was thorough, comforting, and took the time to answer every question. Above all else he is an amazing surgeon and I would trust him if I needed surgery again or for any member of my family without hesitation. Dr. Gecelter along with his staff were all absolutely fabulous and made me feel as comfortable as if I was family.
