Dr. Gary Harvey, MD

Dr. Harvey is a wonderful surgeon. He was kind, took his time, explained everything in detail, I never felt rushed or dismissed. He answered all of my and my husbands questions patiently and honestly. Dr. Harvey is extremely experienced and I trust his medical decisions. He was kind before the surgery and warm and caring when he came in the day after surgery to check on me. He has called me at home and done everything he could to make me comfortable. I had a very positive experience with Dr. Harvey and highly recommend him!

Dr, Harvey is a kind, caring and compassionate Dr, that really listens to all concerns. His nurse Barb goes above and beyond to make all visits pleasant. I am blessed to be in his care. He takes time to explain all issues with knowledge and comfort. 10 stars if they were available.

I don't understand how so many people recommend this doctor, I always left feeling very uncomfortable afterwards because it truly felt like he didn't care in the slightest about my issues. He isn't that nice, doesn't explain things well, and makes you feel like you are taking up his time. Not only that, but they kept telling me wrong dates as to when my appointment was scheduled!

Experienced, knowledgeable, caring, LISTENS....on and on!! Hands down, the BEST! Been seeing Dr Harvey for over 10 yrs and through 4 pregnancies. I highly recommend him to my friends and family and they too recommend him! I love telling people who my obgyn is!

Dr. Gary Harvey: I feel blessed that I was given the opportunity to have him as my doctor. I informed him of right sided chronic pain with a known growing ovarian cyst. With such care and wisdom, he was able to educate me with available options. I ended up having surgery to remove my right ovary, tube and the cyst(s) that were attached. All of this was done with three small incisions and the assistance with robotic surgery. It was truly fascinating hearing about the machine and how it has evolved since its first introduction. In fact, Dr. Harvey took the time to explain the entire procedure in full detail, along with recovery time and follow up call. He provides such care and professionalism. Plus, Sylvia and the office staff are very helpful, along with his nurse Barb. Such a great group of people!! Thank you so very much for making me feel like myself again.

LADIES, RUN THE OTHER WAY! Dr. H did a hysterectomy for me. He said I had no options, and discouraged me from getting second opinions. After what turned out to be an unnecessary surgery, he "forgot" to follow through on multiple promises, missed red flags, and left me permanent impairments, which needed 3 procedures to correct. He told me “that's not the way it works.” My husband’s a doctor, I'm a medical person, and we DO know how it works.

Dr. Harvey has been my doctor since 2008. I appreciate his calmness in every situation. He's a great doctor and I would recommend him to anyone.

He checked on me in the hospital and called me at home. He is a sincere human being and he has an outstanding reputation within the medical community. He is medical practice cares more about money that treating patients in pain. They ask for all money up front that they won't receive from insurance company. They don't provide any monthly payment program but sell you a credit card. When did the practice of healing take second place to making absorbant amounts of money. Congratulations Dr. Harvey and your pleasant office manager.
