Dr. Gary Lawton, MD

Dr Lawton deserves every ounce of recognition. From precare to post care - him and his staff have gone above and beyond for my breast augmentation. He is pure talent in his eye for aesthetics, his ability to follow through, his incredibly calm demeanor and his balancing act of maintaining an amazing office staff that are all so kind and truly put patients at the heart of their care. I am beyond satisfied, so happy to hav chosen him. I walked in on Wednesday with low confidence and left on a Thursday with a brand new set of knockers that I am obsessed with. I wish I did this 15 years ago. Thank you Dr. Lawton and team. Forever grateful.

Today was my first consultation for my first cosmetic surgery. The receptionist was very cheerful and friendly with excellent customer service skills. The nurse that showed me to my consultation room was also accommodating and sweet which made me feel very comfortable. I did not like the wait time, I was scheduled to see the Dr at 10 and didn’t see him until 11. Dr. Lawton was very friendly and kind, he made me feel comfortable. What I did not like was that I felt that my wants were not being heard.I also did not like that maybe he had too many people scheduled at the same time so he was rushing to finish with me as soon as possible. At the end of your consult you are seen by a patient coordinator. She was very unprofessional to other staff over the phone. She made me feel small like a i have better things to do attitude. She is the main reason I will not be returning.She made me feel very uncomfortable.i hadhigh hopes due to recommendations To I received. I was so sad and disappointed

I was on the call with Dr. Lawton and unfortunately was diss appointed with the lack of professionalism. One of my family members had a procedure done with him and I called his office to speak to him due to having a concern on the aftercare of my family members procedure. He talked to me very unprofessional to the point where he raised his voice at me. I’m so disappointed in the treatment I got for just wanting some things clarified for my sibling because I was worried. I also made the call on behalf of my mother who does not speak English.

After numerous consultations, with several other well recommended plastic surgeons I landed on Dr. Lawton. I felt indescribably comfortable with him and everyone in his office from start to finish. He was the last doctor I saw, and I thought I knew what I wanted. He challenged everything I said. Size, style, type, consistency. Maybe other people would've ran, but he's friendly, knowledgeable and personable. There was never a moment when I didn't trust him. Even when he walked into pre-op and asked if I'd decided what cc to go with. I told him I had and that number was up to him as he knew exactly what my goals were and I believed he'd do his best to achieve them. I've had many surgeries over the years and I always get very anxious leading up to the procedure, but Dr. Lawton took EXCEPTIONAL care of me. Never for a second was I worried. Possibly because he had me jump through 248 hoops to be cleared for surgery, proving he valued me not only as a patient, but as a human being in general

2 years ago I underwent a Mommy Makeover with Dr. Lawton. I am so much happier having had a tummy tuck and a breast lift. Now that the "girls" are in the perfect position it was time to add implants to give me some volume. I am only a couple of days post op but I am already super pleased with my results. I love how meticulous and dedicated Dr. Lawton and his entire team are. Dr. Lawton is a highly skilled and trained plastic surgeon, there is no other person I would trust.

My Review of Dr. Lawton -No Procedure I am not big on believing negative reviews, but I do take all reviews into consideration. I am a huge advocate of doing extensive research before making a lifelong decision. I researched everything about a mommy make-over plastic surgery but more on the tummy tuck procedure. My name is Christy and I am an active duty personnel. I am writing this review to discuss my experience at my consultation with Dr. Lawton on June 2, 2020. I can honestly say it did not go well at all. I experienced some of the same interactions, as some other clients did according to the negative reviews they posted. I waited for a little while and when I was seen by Dr. Lawton, it went very quickly. My experience felt VERY rushed by Dr. Lawton and he seems to not care about his clients and expect for his work/credentials to speak volumes instead. I do not want to experience him during bedside manner since my first impression at a consultation with him was horrible.

I was treated by Dr. Lawton after consulting with him and another surgeon. The other surgeon told me my bill would be three times that of Dr. Lawton's. Lawton can tell you how much your procedure will be right then and there. No fudging his bill like the other surgeon. He's very thorough in your blood work and testing to be sure all is well with your procedure. I loved his nurses and the anesthesiologist, and I will continue using him from now on for future procedures.

He was very knowledgable and he made me feel safe with trusting my life and cosmetic goals in his hands. I was however disappointed because I was so excited to hire him when I found out the price. Overpriced compared to the other 9 Drs I have seen in the San Antonio Area. I was hoping my search was finally over but sadly because his prices are so inflated I cannot give a 5 star. I think this practice should consider being more price competitive. If you can afford him I highly recommend Lawton.

My partner had ftm top surgery (double mastectomy) with another surgeon out of state. He began having some issues a couple of weeks after, when we were back home in Texas so we contacted Dr.Lawton. all the staff were great! Dr. Lawton spent a good amount of time with us, answered all our questions, and gave us a clear set of instructions for after care. He was disappointed that we hadn't come to him for the surgery (!) but he took my husband on as a patient for after-care. We're so thankful
