Dr. Gary Motykie, MD

I'm sad to say this, but I think people should know. He ruined my face. The before and afters that I saw (that made me choose him) must have been computer altered because I simply don't think he has the ability to achieve the results.I had surgery on my nose (though it was only supposed to be only the nostrils, not the the tip) and fat transfer to the face (something I was encouraged to do, not that I came in asking for.) I had asked for the nostril to be changed but not to touch the tip of my nose. I woke up and he had completely changed the tip, shaved it off so it was tiny and piggy (as others have mentioned happening to them) and I had begged him not to change the tip! I really don't think he listened to me at all. On top of that the nostrils were still different sizes. Also the fat grafting was the worst decision of my life. I look so fat and fake. I now have the tiniest nose and the fattest face, the proportions are awful. He offered to do a revision, and so I gave him the bene

Unethical business office. They told me they would check my insurance benefits for the non-cosmetic portions; which they did. But nothing else- after that they refused to submit any claim and denied I even paid them for the surgery. Very disappointing unethical behavior from a medical office. Stay clear.

I waited a year to write this review, even though the moment I woke up I knew something was really wrong. My nose was completely butchered by Gary Motykie. At one month I told him how unhappy I was, I never heard from him or his staff again. He shortened my nose (troll nose!), gave me a retracted nostril on one side and a huge notch on the other (broken inner nasal sill from reduction). I used to read reviews that used words like 'botched' and 'butchered' and thought it sounded so dramatic and thought maybe they did something wrong, but after living through it I realize these reviews were right. The worst part is there are zero repercussions. Be careful, read the bad reviews (even thought they don't align with your plan) and don't make an emotional decision. Please think twice before going to a perfectly curated instagram doctor - Gary Motykie is so unethical, i'm in touch with several other patients who are living this nightmare :(

Dr. Motykie's carelessness has left me legally BLIND. The worst day of my life was the day after I had surgery done by this doctor. I went in for a simple procedure and came out in pain. Stabbing pains were shooting through both of my eyes. I could not see the day after my surgery, and tried in vain to get a hold of Dr Motykie on the phone. He never picked up and didn't get back to me for several days. In the meantime I had to get myself to an emergency room and later to an eye specialist - all while partially blind - I only had a slice of vision in one eye to work with. When the doctor finally got in touch, he said it was "normal" and my vision would return. It didn't - I completely lost the vision in my left eye. It has been devastating and he has not acknowledged that this even happened. This man has destroyed my life on so many levels.

Not a good doctor, not a good job, and not worthy of being a plastic surgeon. He screwed up my face and didn't provide the work I had asked for. I spent thousands on this surgery and he did nothing to make up for what is a continued mess. He never called or wrote an email to ask how I was. I had to call him (he never took my call) so that I could get some form of treatment to fix my neck and jawline. He gave me 3 steroid shots that did absolutely nothing. I wound up chatting with other surgeons online, and they gave me some things I could try, and it helped quite a bit – but it still looks weird and I notice people always staring at my neck. If this doesn't scare you, then you get what you deserve. I recommend you find someone else.

He is an amazing Doctor! All of his staff is very professional. Dr. Motykie has great bedside manner. Most importantly his work is amazing.

Dr. Motykie completely transformed my deformed and horrific initial rhinoplasty into something beautiful and something I am so proud of. He also performed the most natural and tasteful breast augmentation on me... better than anything I could've ever dreamed of. I've been a longtime patient of his and have seen him perform miracles on the countless friends I've sent his way, and the overall consensus is true.. he is conservative and natural whilst still providing outstanding results.

Dr. Motykie was my surgeon for several different procedures. I couldn't be happier with the results. My friends are asking to be referred, so they can do the same. I look and feel better than I did 10 years ago and highly recommend Dr. Motykie. He listens to your needs and sets realistic goals to achieve the best results. His entire staff was very helpful answering questions through out my recovery.

Dr Motykie is simple the best. I had a breast augmentation a few months ago and he did such a great job! The consultation went well and i knew right away that I was going to do my surgery with him

Choosing Dr Motykie as a plastic surgeons for my breast augmentation was one of my best decisions. I was extremely nervous. To the point where I know I drove them crazy over there at the office. They never made me feel crazy with all my questions. My doctor was able to achieve the exact look I was going for natural looking with a little volume.

His service is up to mark and didn’t face issues with staff. Dr. Motykie was quite knowledgeable and he explained me well before the surgery about the outcomes and the after op issues. I was much impressed with his good bedside manners and the ease of making me comfortable during the whole procedure. Much appreciated result.

I have done a lot more search before going for Liposuction. I was confused, nervous and had many doubts in my mind because I have spent so many years with my belly fat. I truly thankful to Dr. Gary Motykie for helping me to regain my confidence level. He is the best listener and great surgeon. Dr. Motykie made me comfortable and guided me through the procedure of liposuction I am going to have. Now after my liposuction I am fully satisfied with the surgery and feeling awesome.
