Patient Beware!
My doctor patient relationship began rough and ended abruptly during a pre-op appointment with Dr. Oaks when I began to question his medical practices. I agreed 100% to severe ties and not proceed with surgery. After reading prior lawsuits against Dr. Oaks, I feel relieved that I dodged a bullet. With Dr. Oaks I experienced months and months of ongoing mismanagement of my medical care leading up to the, I desperately needed to correct multiple issues with my left foot. The instances of mis communication within the office would have led to wrong procedures done in the surgery room had I not caught and questioned it. Gather documents to show ADA violations, poor clinical notes, and blatant dishonesty from both Dr. Oaks and his office staff has been daunting.

My dad went in; his toe and foot were swollen. He was diagnosed quickly, the treatment? "Here's some tape, it'll heal in 6 weeks". No explaining how it works, no options for pain, like an anti-inflammatory. Nothing to address the immediate issue of pain and swelling. My dad works construction and is on his feet all day; I'm sorry doc, you have to do better than a piece of tape. Now, we are looking for another podiatrist to address the issue and pay for ANOTHER visit to get to the root of the problem and get real solutions.

My husband was having pressure and numbness near his toes. After treatment by Dr. Oaks his entire feet were in pain. The three injections did not help at all. His quick diagnosis was wrong and caused more problems.
