Do get this guy as your Doctor at the VA.
Dr. Strasberg, where does one start? The worst doctor that I have ever been to. Talks down to you in every way. Does not give a darn what any other VA doctor has given you in the past. Usually cancels anything anyone else gives you or when you ask for a refill he comes up with the Why do you need that? The customer service to the veterans is terrible. Is by far the worst doctor I have ever seen in my life.

Not good communication
Doesn’t listen when you explain private doctors care and medications says he is not just a general internist he is trained in hematology and removed medication from VA pharmacy as “ the VA is not my personal pharmacy “. Raised his voice and felt he was not going to be able to listen going forward. He said his name was on the line and he discontinued my blood thinners from the VA. I’m working with private hematologist to get background information for Strasberg so I can get the coverage I need. Do not recommend him

Worst Dr. I have ever had as a primary care doctor. I think he looks down on disabled veterans like myself. It appears to me he is more concerned with the number of people he sees in an day rather than listening to what health care you need, I see he has not changed over the years about his attitude towards veterans. He spends no quality time with you; for an example he listened to my heart on the right side of my chest. He listen to my lungs, once on each side, with only one breath. Now he refuses to wright a prescription for medication that I have been taking for years of which he wrote the prescription last month. I think he relishes in making the veteran miserable.

Dr.Strasberg has a somewhat snobby outlook toward veterans. He does not care about the patient enough to ask questions. The nurse take some kind of summary and presents it to the doctor. When he enters the room he quickly asks "WHATS THIS ALL ABOUT". He then says I won't give you a medication if a private doctor has prescribed it. Try to ask a question and he gets up and walks out.
