Wonderful physician!
Dr. Walker took much time learning about me and my many health issues. She spent a large amount of time without rushing me. We discussed progress and suggestions. This appointment was exactly what I needed coming from out of state and starting with all new doctors!

Phenomenal, extraordinary doctor - highly recommen
My primary and gynecologist kept bouncing me between the two. After 2 friends raved about Dr Walker I switched to her and she figured out what was going on in one visit.

outstanding professional
I am stunned re the negative comments - every complaint I read about actually were strengths I observed!!!!!! She spends more time with me as a patient than any Dr I have ever gone to! Yes she is researching on the computer as we talk about concerns for the most up to date info. I have had significant issues with a brain injury and her knowledge of advanced interventions/therapies led me to a treatment that gave me significant progress in healing. Most would have considered the therapy as 'outside of the traditional.' I have ALWAYS been impressed with the ease and timeliness of scheduling appts.

Dr. Gay Walker Internal Medicine
I read a few reviews which are not accurate of Dr. Walker. I have been dealing with chronic pain, auto-immune problems for years. My Orange County Doctor's were suppose to be top. However, when I moved I found Dr. Walker. This seasoned Doctor knew what to do to help me out. She truly does listen and care! She is excellent!!

She is very old school, not open to anything outside her very narrow range of training. Not up to date on alternative options for treating chronic conditions .Doesn't believe in diet as a form of medicine. Doesn't listen or seem to care. Quick to prescribe medication to get you out of her office. Refused to order blood work for hashimotos thyroid condition that gives a broader view of my thyroid function. She told me, "Research doesn't support it". What she means is the big pharma doesn't support it.

Tried to get a 1st appointment and they scheduled it 3 months out. When the appointment came, I was in the middle of moving to Utah because I had sold my house. Called her office to get a refill on my blood pressure medication and she totally ignored my request. Judging from other reviews I have read, she is not an attentive doctor, nor a very caring one.

I would choose a different provider. I had no luck getting an appointment for many weeks. I couldn't get my prescriptions correct, which resulted in overly frequent refills on one and running out of the other. Trying to rectify their error was nearly impossible. Luckily, I was aware of what meds/doses I was supposed to take when, as one was a blood pressure medication that I took once a day (for cluster headaches) and it was prescribed three times a day.

I have found my interactions with Dr Walker to be amazing. She spends time, listens and has helped me with 2 very difficult conditions. She is willing to send patients to specialists as well.

I recently saw Dr. Walker for the first time and she was very attentive, professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. She seems very sharp and showed compassion as I explained my symptoms. She wrote me a prescription and referred me to an expert for further help. I felt confident in her medical expertise and left the office feeling relieved and grateful.

I came to Dr. Walker for help. She was looking things up on the internet as I was talking to her, giving me advice on the fly she was gleaning from web sites. But the most unprofessional, saddest thing is that when she stepped out to have her nurse bring me a print out, I could hear her mocking me to the nurse - making fun of what I had told her. I was shocked and floor that any doctor could behave that way, and especially when someone had come to them in need of help.
