Dr. Gayathri Devineni, MD

We love love love Dr. D! She might smaller than my preteen son but she holds his attention. He stands up straight & with good posture, listens & follows thru with her suggestions. He even switched his favorite drink, whole milk, to the “less-tasty” organic hormone free milk. Currently Dr. D is a woman show until her lovely other has is able to make it back to the office but that doesn’t slow Dr. D down to getting the plethora jobs and details completed to give her patients & their families the best care! She’s one of the most compassionate & trustworthy Drs. we’ve met! She’s friendly but not pushy, super intelligent but will patiently explain tests results, gives treatment options that I bet she’d give her own family. My only disappointment ;) is that she’s a pediatric endocrinologist. Therefore, I’m too old to have her treat my Hashimoto’s, thyroid disease. We love Devineni, My son loves Dr. Devineni. He usually has anxiety about doctor visits, but Dr. Devineni puts him at ease. She is very through with her exam. She runs bloodwork frequently to insure his meds are working and his numbers are inline. He has grown over six inches and has begun hitting milestones for his age. She listens to the parents and the kids. She talks to the kids about the importance of diet and exercise. We highly recommend Dr. Devineni.

Dr. Devineni is a very well educated and kind doctor!! She explained things thoroughly and put us at ease. She didn't leave us without answering all our questions and making a plan for care. She even counsel the kid's . My kid food habits changed after talking to Doctor Devineni . My son came out from insulin injection to only Metformin tablet to control Diabetes . By Food Habit's and Excersies. We admire her and respect her a lot because she save my son's life from diabetic condition.

I took my daughter to Dr Devinini for, what I consider, 3 lost years. She just put my daughter on meds and required frequent visits to refill -all of which which was essentially a bandaid. She never addressed the underlying problem. We are now at CHOA and finally getting the assessment and care needed.

I was looking for a another doctor for my son. We have been going to another office where I would leave the office wondering what the heck is going on. Couldn't get appt in time for the routine checkup, doctor had no personality. When we went to Dr.D she was a breath of fresh air, professional, wonderful personality, cares about children, thorough, knowledgeable and made sure I understood everything. I would recommend her to everyone.

She is an amazing Pediatric Endocrinologist! We drive 30 mins for her to see my daughter. We have seen a couple more Dr’s who didn’t listen to my concerns and were not thorough. When we found her it was a blessing! She is so compassionate and knowledgeable and if you have any questions or concerns she will pick up the phone and call you herself! My daughter feels very comfortable taking to Dr D bc she knows she is truly sincere and always willing to listen. She is amazing!

Dr. Devineni--'Dr. D'--has been an answered prayer! From our first encounter following a referral from our pediatrician's office, she immediately put us at ease regarding our daughter's health. She patiently answered our questions in private BEFORE inviting our daughter into the exam room, not wanting to cause any undue worry or concern for our daughter. She has carefully explained each decision in our daughter's care plan. She even helped us navigate the crazy world of changing insurance!

Speaking not from a patient perspective but a worker perspective, I had the most blessed opportunity to work with Dr. Devineni and her practice. Never have I witnessed someone so passionate about her job and caring for her patients. Seeing children and their families walk out of appointments with hopeful enthusiasm and smiles on their faces say the most about the extent of how Dr. Devineni goes above and beyond for every patient.

Nice enough but do Not recommend for Adrenal Insufficiency

She was fantastic! She took the time to listen and HEAR what both my daughter and I were saying. She was thorough and gave us every possible diagnostic scenario.
