Does not listen.
I received services for 3 years and each time it got increasing worse. Doesn't listen, dismissed concerns I had, refused to provide medication I was on from out of state provider when I move to CA. I followed all instructions, made appointments with referrals. My last encounter I left in tears and experienced an anxiety attack. I was terrified to see another doctor with fear that they would behave in the same condescending manner and not listen to me about my symptoms. I went to a different facility found out I have arthritis and a fractured L5 in one visit and had referrals for the correct specialist within a day. She said there was nothing she could do for me and I should go to the ER when I attempted to explain my symptoms and the history. She wasn't having it stating "no tell me about this visit". I felt she needed the history to help support next steps and not be so impulsive. She interrupt me many times. I found a new PCP.

Extremely poor listening skills
Worst experience with a doctor ever. Gave up half through the appointment in trying to explain my issues. Switching doctors ASAP. I wish the doctor reads how consistently poor peoples' experiences are and changes a bit

Mislead on Billing
I felt a little rushed during the appointment, but my biggest complaint was that I was mislead about payment. My insurance covers one doctor's visit a year, so when the staff was setting up a followup, I mentioned that I wouldn't be able to come. The staff said that followups should be covered under that one visit, so I agreed to go to the followup (which ended up being entirely unnecessary). However, Stanford still billed me, claiming my followup was actually a separate visit. I tried to fight it but nothing happened. I feel very angry and mislead about it all.

Medical Gaslighting
I read a NYTimes about medical gaslighting; it made me realize I needed to write a review for Dr. Krishna. She has shown these behaviors the whole time I saw her, but I didn't have the wherewithal, self-confidence, or belief in myself to admit they were happening. From the NYTimes: - Your provider continually interrupts you, doesn’t allow you to elaborate." (Dr. Krishna will literally not let me finish a sentence. Usually I just let her talk over me. Last time, I kept talking to see what would happen. She never stopped talking. How can she treat me when she doesn't listen?) - Your provider downplays your symptoms. (My symptoms are blamed on my weight) - Your provider refuses to discuss your symptoms. (I fought to get a key test [see below]. When it revealed a HUGE problem, she refused to treat it, even though it was a simple fix). - Your provider will not order key imaging or lab work to rule out or confirm a diagnosis. There's more, but I'm out of space. Don't go to this doctor.

Doesn’t listen
I’ve been with Dr. Krishna 6 years because I can’t find another PCP. I deeply respect doctors and have never had a problem with one. Until now. She literally doesn’t let you speak. At all. Literally talks over you. Obsessed about my weight even though my numbers - A1C and cholesterol - have always been good and actually have been going down even as I’m heavier. I asked her what numbers concerned her. She couldn’t answer. She ignored a major health issue and consistently has demonstrated a complete lack of knowledge about my current health issues and what’s in my chart. I have avoided the doctor because of her. This is my first negative review of a doctor in my whole life, but I’m concerned that someone else will be medically neglected like I have.

I went in for an annual physical which should be fully covered by my medical insurance. I was asked to take a blood test and later received a bill for $24.08 for a Vitamin D test, which is part of the annual test and should have resulted in no cost to me. I followed up twice with her office asking why I was charged, and both times received a reply saying that they would add a "code" to the test to make the charges go away. The lab continued to send me bills stating that my bill was past due. Finally I just went ahead and paid it rather than following up with the doctor's office again. A simple visit required way too much follow up and a payment out of pocket that I should not have needed to make. I'm never going here again.

SHE was horrible to me during my pregnancy. She kept mentioning about my weight and was trying to get me on BP meds even though my BP was slightly borderline.

Dr. Krishna always lectured me about my weight, even when I was having serious and prolonged periods of illness. (My new PCP has uncovered significant health issues. Dr. K told me she KNEW I was healthy except for my weight and refused to order them.) I did improve my diet and exercise, but she refused to believe it when my weight didn't go down and blamed my bad diet/laziness. She made me afraid to go to the doctor. I am so glad I switched PCPs; I wish I had done so sooner.
