Dr. Giler-Sacoto rules!
recently visited Dr. Gema Giler-Sacoto for a follow-up visit on my neurological concerns, and I cannot express enough how impressed I am with the high level of care I continue to receive. From the moment I walked into the office, the staff was, as usual, very welcoming and professional, which is they key to consistently creating a comforting atmosphere.Dr. Giler-Sacoto is an exceptional neurologist who truly listens me and is respected by her patients and staff. While other doctors were ready to schedule invasive spinal surgery; Dr. Giler-Sacoto took the time to thoroughly understand my symptoms and medical history, personally administering diagnostics while explaining each step of the diagnostic process in a clear and patient manner. Her expertise and attention to detail were evident, and I have felt confident in her ability to provide the best possible care since our initial visit.Throughout my treatment, Dr. Giler-Sacoto has been the most ocompassionate and reassuring doctor.

Extremely dismissive and rude
Dr. Giler was extremely rude and dismissive. The first sentence she said to me was; “ Well I see you have had extensive testing, what do you want from me?” Seriously!! I have a proven lower body neuropathy along with several other symptoms. She never bothered to review my previous EMS, especially the last one which was extremely extensive & proved that my neuropathy was getting worse. She did her own EMG & acted completely bothered by it the whole time, and her results were way off. When she presented me with the results she stated that the only issue she found was, “this little problem with my feet”. Oh really!! This little problem with my feet has greatly interfered with my mobility, but she didn’t care at all!! I asked her if I should go see a rheumatologist for my other symptoms. She said “I wouldn’t because they might find something else wrong. Seriously!! You see a patient suffering & that’s the advice you give?? Urg! I’m going to a rheumatologist in 2 weeks!
