Dr. Geoffrey Kwitko, MD

I've been going to Dr Kwitko about 20 years. Without this talented and caring Dr, I know I would have been blind by now. I have Thyroid Eye Disease with Graves Disease. When I started seeing him, I was seeing double and eyes bulging. Dr Kwitko, being the Nation's best with treating and the understanding of what this disease does, I can without any reservations recommend Dr Geoffrey Kwitko. I have had numerous operations as well as 3 orbital decompressions, muscles moved, and lids lifted from him over these years and he is the only one I trust with dealing with this disease. I wake every morning thanking God that I can see and guiding me toward the talented Dr. Kwitko. His staff is top notch.Thank you Dr for your talent and care.Edie Benuck

I had an episode a few months ago where something happened to my vision. I first saw an optometrist, then an ophthalmologist, both said my eyes were fine but the ophthalmologist, after learning my history of AFIB, suspected I had a stoke and told me to start taking my blood thinner again, he also sent me to Dr. Kwitko, a neuro ophthalmologist, who confirmed the suspicion and sent me in for tests. It turns out I did have a stroke which was now affecting my vision. When I went to see Dr. Kwitko for the follow-up, the FIRST thing he said to me when he walked into the room was 'well, it looks like we saved your life', that's it. He did not ask me how I was doing or offer any help, or advice on what might happen with my vision moving forward. When he was then quickly ready to send me on my way, I had to ask him if anything could be done about my vision and his only answer was 'oh that's a glasses thing' See him if you want, just be aware the appointment is more for him than you.

When another doctor butchered my eyelids Dr. Kwitko reconstructed my eyelids and made me look better than ever. I am so grateful for his skill. He’s not a therapist so don’t expect warm and fuzzy but he will make your eyes look amazing. Thank you Dr. Kwitko

Pleased with upper lid surgery. Had 'lower lid retraction' and asked a question about results and he demonstrated irritation, raised his voice and became very defensive. I assured him that I was not upset - I just wondered about the healing process. However, he continued with what felt like an attack. All of this occurred with the door open and the patient across the hall with her door open in view and hearing range.I have never been treated this way in my life by a medical professional. He was nice prior to surgery, although in a hurry and not forthcoming with what was involved, what to expect, etc. with surgery itself.Bottom line.... he is friendly until he makes the sale. Look elsewhere. No one deserves to be treated with such disdain for asking a question.

Tied for the worst Dr I've ever seen. He may be 5 star surgeon, which I thought I could tolerate for his expertise, but he was rude, demeaning and belittling on both visits. Won't be returning.

Dr Kwitko did my upper blepharoplasty surgery with very little bruising or swelling. I was so impressed! The surgery center was so caring and wonderful. I am so happy with my results; I highly recommend him! My mother needed the same surgery for so many years and I was so excited to let her know I found Dr. K and finally schedule my surgery. She understood and she knew how stressful it was for me because she had lived with it for so long. Unfortunately, she passed away before she could see my results but I sure she sees me and is happy for me.

Dr Kwitko and staff did an Excellent job for me-professional, honest, really good result with touch up in a month. We couldn’t be more pleased with outcome-thanks Dr Kwitko!!

Dr. Kwitko was straightforward with me about any and everything I asked. Prior to my first visit with him, I was terrified. I was at ease within minutes after he explained what had to be done. I knew the doctor that referred me to him was exceptionally pleased with all his results. I did not hesitate to set up my first appointment. It was almost instantly scheduled .

Dr Kwitko is very knowledgeable and is a great surgeon. After my surgery I had an issue and called on a Sunday. It was his direct cell phone and he called me back immediately. How awesome is that? I highly recommend him for your eye surgery!

Dr. Kwitko is very professional and experienced in his field of practice. His appointments seemed a bit rushed but he did an excellent job with the removal of my right eye. Would highly recommend.
