Best Patient Advocate
He was my wife's oncologist when he was at Dana-Farber. If you want a best buddy get a pen pal or a puppy. If you want your life saved get Dr. Oxnard. His bedside manner can occasionally seem abrupt because he deals in facts, like a scientist should. He's actually a sweet and wonderful person when you get to know him. This guy follows up on everything IMMEDIATELY and gets sh*t done! He knows every front and back channel to navigate to get his patients what they need. I'm guessing he probably rubs his administration and some hypersensitive patients the wrong way at times, but if you want to be part of a team that aggressively fights your cancer or your loved ones cancer, this is the guy you want! I wish he was still at Dana-Farber.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Oxnard?
Ideally, my review for Dr. Oxnard would be less than one star; however, an infinite number of negative stars would still not be enough to signify my extreme dislike of this physician. Though I have no doubt that he is most likely useful, and probably quite knowledgeable in a lab setting, he is an absolute nightmare when it comes to direct pt care. I have never met a more arrogant, less compassionate, physician and would highly recommend that DF consider removing him from direct pt care.
