Dr. George Allen, MD

Dr. Allen was working in Jackson, TN at the time I needed emergency surgery. I was very nervous as this was my first surgery and it was going to be extensive. Dr. Allen explained everything in detail and assured me everything was going to be okay. He was able to save my ovaries, which we thought was not possible. He prayed over me before I went back to the OR and even stayed after his shift was up to make sure he could come to my room and tell me goodbye before leaving. He was a God send, and I am so thankful he just so happened to be there when I needed him. I highly recommend Dr. Allen to anybody.

My daughter was admitted at BH Lexington. I spoke with Dr. ALLEN several times about her care. He was very informative and cared. She was High risk patient and he had great knowledge of her situation

Very poor communication and seemed not to care a thing in the world about anything except billing the insurance. Also at Baptist where there were other female gynos in the same hospital my gf for personal choice and religious reasons requested a female for anything beyond checking for the heart beat and ultrasound. She was told that he had to do it or she had to leave. Regardless if our child's life was on the line. Thurs middle of the day. Prob 10-15 female gynos who could have checked her, but nah they billing that insurance money in labor in delivery bc its an emergency. The baby was fine and had a heartbeat which he did not even relay to her after she was in tears worried about our baby. He then checked her cervix for dilatation, which took 10 seconds and they could have had a female do it, but they were like we do not care about your beliefs and this man will touch your vagina or you can leave and your baby could die. I literally called and the receptionist was like yes. wow
