He was with me less than 5 minutes, he applied an ace wrap to the leg that had burst blood vessel, he told me if ace wraps were a problem we could go to Ted hose,he said Ted hose several times. The nurses apply the wraps and they fall off with in a few hours. My doctor's office and Nurse have called repeatedly to ask for a prescription for the Ted hose, but first he said no, continue wraps, called his office and he puts in writing to apply compression wraps, my nurse called again to clarify, since he is the surgeon but for some reason he doesn't write Ted hose and let my doctor have his nurses put on stockings that will apply pressure. I didn't ask for the Ted hose, that's what he said needed to allow my wound to heal, it's been 12 weeks and not healed, the wraps will not do the job, he needs to take 2 minutes to get this straightened out over the phone,. His receptionist is going back and forth .

I have suffered pain from neuropathies and non healing wounds for 3+ years. I went to see Dr Austin for a Medical Marijuana evaluation as well as to look at my leg wounds. Despite my ongoing pain and reliance on Opoids for 10 years, he didn't feel I was qualifiedfor medical marijuana, didn't have any suggestions for my leg, took my $100, and said I should come back next week, although there is nothing that he did other than to look at the wounds. I don't feel he was responsive to my problems.
