I cannot in good faith recommend anyone see him
I have seen several ENT physicians (5+) in my lifetime. Unfortunately, my visit with Dr. Doxey was uniequivocally the worst. To begin his bedside manner leaves much to be desired. When I brought up my chief complaint, he pivoted to doing an ear wax cleaning - a service I did not consent for or ask for. In casual conversation he rudely asserted that having pets is nothing similar to having children, which is fine if that's his opinion, but he asserted this as though his word was law. His physical exam of my neck bordered on assault and he misidentified anatomy externally, which required imaging because he was not able to discern anything through is exam. It ultimately required imaging which validated concerns that he suggested where psychogenic in origin. He also incorrectly quoted the prices for all required diagnostic testing. In summary, I found him incredibly rude, arrogant, and incompetent. With how many better options there are for ENTs I cannot recommend him to anyone.

Went to the Urgent Care at St, George Regional Hospital for a constant nose bleed (I'm on blood thinners due to a heart condition). The bleeding was temporarily stopped but came back. Went to the emergency room where the ER Doctor inserted a rhino balloon up my nose and filled it with saline. The pain was unbelievable. I had to live with the balloon and pain for 3 days. I then went to Dr. Doxey, and his assistant Sherice. Dr. Doxey removed the balloon and was surprised that it was filled with saline because usually they are filled with air so as not to cause too much pain. After removing the balloon, my nose was bleeding because of the scab that the balloon had caused. Dr. Doxey was patient and explained what was happening. The intensity of bleeding decreased and the pain was gone. Thank you Dr. Doxey and Sherice.

I left a review of Dr Doxey in 2016. I gave him 5 stars then. We hadn’t lived here very long so we really didn’t know who to go to. We totally had to trust our primary care specialist. I started to have some new problems so I called his office. I like him so much I might as well go back. I wasn’t with him for only a few minutes, when he told me that I had two, different problems. He gave me some, heavy duty antibiotics and in about 5 days I felt so much better. As far as what I went in for we are working on it. I love how he really seems to watch you and listen to you to see what else is wrong. Twice he has found two different problems and he totally changed my life when he helped me with each one. If you want A touchy tender Hearted kind of doctor don’t go to him. he is to the point, he isn’t one to stop and visit about the kids and bond with you like that. He does want to talk about what is wrong with you. He is there to help you. His staff is excellent. He is worth the wait.

I, my son, and many family members have trusted Dr Doxey with complicating issues from various surgeries to diagnosing conditions that many other doctors missed. He is very thorough, intelligent, and pleasant to work with. He has always ensured excellent care and improved all of our lives.

I went four weeks ago because of crap in my left ear that was not taken care of years ago in Arizona. He tried to get it out, but was a bacterial infection! He put me on ear drops and prednisone for nasal polyps. Went back in yesterday. Dr. Doxey removed the crap in my left ear! Unfortunately, still have a big polyp in my nose, but that will be taken care of. Thank you Doctor for helping me get better!

He was over an hour late for the appointment. He started asking me my address, #of children and occupation. I had come early and filled out 6 pgs of that stuff. He did a reasonable eval. but I had already told him the issues and the result was the same. I will try another ENT for the next visit. The assistant was efficient. High end office, loaded with personnel, customer satisfaction was low end...

Used to be a good Doctor. Last two visits I have had to correct him on: Interpreting a ultrasound report which would have resulted in surgery. In office CT scan interpretation not supported by follow up MRI report.
