STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY
Dr Georgakakis is the absolute WORST ENT doctor I've ever been to. His staff is as bad as he is ... down right nasty. He's a very weird doctor. Strange behavior, kind of gave me the creeps.I went to him a few times for routine ear and allergy problems and tolerated his odd behavior. I woke one morning and had terrible tinnitus, vertigo and couldn't hear out of my left ear. I called to make an appointment and his nasty receptionist said he couldn't see me for a MONTH! I called another ENT doctor and he saw me immediately, and said I had Sudden Sensorineural hearing loss and that had I not been seen immediately, I would never have regained any of my hearing. I had a few rounds of corticosteroid injections in my inner ear and fortunately got back 20% of my hearing. Had I waited for Georgakakis' appointment I would have lost all my hearing.STAY AWAY FROM THIS MESS OF A DOCTOR IF YOU CARE ANYTHING ABOUT YOUR HEALTH.

Awful human being
My 78 year old mother drives a power chair and ACCIDENTALLY hit 'Dr. G''s desk and chipped it. (We would have gladly paid for the damage, but we didn't get a chance to even offer. He went ballistic and F bombed my mom. Totally unprofessional, horrible bedside manner. Don't know how he has ANY patients at all. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone. I hope he learns some patience and grace go a long way.

I go annually or so for a hearing test. Before the test, the dr asked questions about my hearing etc... he then asks me to open my mouth and I think to myself, what for?? Well, he see a white spot about the size of a dime under my tongue!! I had never noticed it of course, and was causing no pain.. so I will need to get a biopsy to rule out oral cancer etc..So u want to talk about thorough??! Well, that’s a thorough exam!!! And fact is that a week before, was at the dentist, who quite frankly, they should be checking for these types of things in the mouth... and they didn’t! So thankfully, dr g caught this by doing a thorough exam!!! I also don’t understand why people here complain about such a long wait to get an appointment. How is that the dr’s fault!? If they are popular and booked up, then you know they are a good dr.

Dr G is extremely professional and explains in detail. Appropriate Q.A. Is given adequate time. Staff is on top of the game and polite. Did I mention office and exam rooms are immaculately clean. Five Stars.

Ok so first visit I went to I waited almost 45 minutes for the dr to come into the room. When he did he was very rude and had horrible bedside manner. He did get me on the proper antibiotic to fix me up which was good. But on my follow up appt I once again was waiting a long time to be seen. I was the first one there at 130 after lunch and should’ve been the first one seen. Instead once again I got sat in the room for 30 minutes. After 30 min I had had enough and left the office without being se

I needed an ENT consult, was over joyed that Dr. Geogakis was the Doctor. Asked me a 100 question, reexamined after talking to double check, incredibly thoughtful, explained each step and why. The best part is when we were finished he asked if I had any more question, if I understood everything. I never once felt rushed. Wonderful bedside Manor. My Mom came, we were going to lunch after. She said if she ever needed an ENT after seeing his treatment of me could not imagine going anywhere else.

While Dr. Georgakakis may be a good doctor, the office billing is difficult to deal with. We were overcharged for an initial office visit and it is taking 2 months to get a refund. The insurance company has been in touch with them on multiple occasions, but the office still has not issued a refund.

The parking is a challenge, but Dr. George was attentive and found what was causing my coughing on the first visit. (He saw the acid reflux with a scope through my nose in the office). Since then, he's seen 2 other people that I've recommended him to, and they love him as well.

I am (was) an existing patient. I called to make an appointment for an excruciating ear infection where I cannot even eat. They can squeeze me 3 weeks from now- and told me I should feel lucky because there was a cancellation. Normally the appointment would be 8 weeks out. In the past, a 2 hour wait is the norm. I called another ENT and have an appointment this afternoon.

Dr G took the time to explain what was going on as well as suggestions for the next steps. I found him extremely caring and professional . He also took the time a few days later to personally call regarding test results. Not too many will do that

I know this doctor has fairly good ratings but my experience was negative. Cold, distant and I felt that I was immaterial to the conversation. My case was unusual and he did not really listen to me. Very frustrating and I will not see him again. I have found another doctor.
