Dr. Holmes has been treating me since 1993. Very knowledgable and professional.

Dr Holmes treats you as a person. He is the only Dr I have had who calls me back personally with lab results on follow up comments.

Well DR.Holmes certainly has a good staff who waittesrs on someone almost instantly.The wait time past and present has been great. In that regard one must remember physicians need some wait time to review one's prior medical records. Dr.Holmes was very reactive for my concerns and further tests were made in regards to the medial situation.His experiences In the many years of practice are unsurpassed . One of the most rewarding factors for my experience has been the great follow up with any tests made.This has been a constant In 30 plus years of going to the Holmes Plaza and to his office. Thanks

Dr. George Holmes is a great doctor. He is very knowledgeable. He listens and he is very caring. He is always on time. The staff is very nice and professional. They see that you get an appointment when you need it and they do a good job relaying messages to Dr. Holmes. Dr Holmes or one of his nurses will call back with an answer usually within 24 hours if it is not urgent.

Needed to have knee check and get pneumonia vaccine

Everyone was friendly, caring and pleasant. Dr. Holmes is always caring and takes all the time you may need god you’d visit.

My annual checkup with Dr George Holmes was Wednesday May 20, 2020. As always everyone at the Family Practice facility at Southern Hills Nashville, TN was exceptional. I have been a patient of Dr Holmes almost since he first opened his practice there. No health issue was found on this visit as I am a relative healthy 69 year old. Routine blood was run upon this visit as was urinalysis and eye test and the usual listening of my heart and lungs by Dr Holmes. As always the very next morning his office called with my test results. He was my mother and father's doctor being always so kind with them. Dr. Holmes is a family physian. . .he treats the WHOLE family when one member is seriously ill. Dr. Holmes WILL get to the root of your health problem by sending you to the proper specialist if needed. He has pulled myself and my family through a lot of illnesses over the years. As we say in South Nashville--he is from the neighborhood and is like family.

Dr. Holmes is the best doctor I have ever had the opportunity to treat me and my family. We trust him with our lives. No questions asked.

Dr Holmes is my PCP. This visit was my annual physical. I always receive excellent care and attention. Dr. Holmes is looking out for me and takes good care of me.

As usual, when I arrived the receptionist immediately greeted me and started the checkin process in a friendly and professional manner. I sat no more than 3 minutes before i was greeted by the nurse and taken back to an exam room and prepped for Dr. Holmes with no lag time before he came in. He listened to my questions and concerns and addressed them all as usual. If you need a primary care physician. you can do no better than Dr. George L. Holmes.

Standard follow-up and health exam. Dr. Holmes is always refreshingly genuine and caring. Bottom line, I trust him and that is no small thing these days. He is very knowledgeable with an excellent “bedside manner”.

I had experienced congestion in my lungs and went to Dr. Holmes, whom I have used since coming to Nashville. His staff met me after the reception check-in and proceeded to test my vital signs. He immediately came through the door asking had I been coughing which he heard from the hall and told me it wasn't like the run-of-the mill he'd been seeing lately. We continued with the exam, which was aided by an X-ray made down the hall. As a result of what he saw, I was sent upstairs to the pulmonologist and received a couple of inhalers and advice. The next day I had broken out in hives, which overnight disappeared after the steroid shot he gave me. He is always on duty -- and his assistants keep track of what goes on. He's a "down home" doctor, someone who you trust and who makes you feel comfortable with him.

I love Dr. George Holmes. He is such a good Dr and cares about his patients

Dr Holmes is the quintessential PCP. He is kind and caring not mostly thorough and will hound you (in a respectful way) to be sure you are up to date on all of you preventative testing /diagnostics, etc. he calls you immediately with test results, etc. great follow up!

It is such a pleasure to have a family practitioner who oversees your entire medical history and knows all of your medications and cares for the whole patient! Anytime I call there is a caring person on the phone who makes sure that I am seen quickly and leave feeling confident that I have had excellent care.
