Dr. Royer is amazing!! He is always in a great mood and talks to his patients like a friend...he genuinely cares about his patients and their well-being. I have been going to Dr. Royer for 3.5 years now and he is by far, the best all around gp I have had as am adult and he truly has helped me since day one with any all ongoing or new medical issues. He takes his time with me as his patient and ensures that all treatments and/or medical issues are being thoroughly and properly treated. I will stay as his patient until hie retires!

Additionally to previous review of Dr. Royer. My mother was his patient for almost ten years and he had been prescribing her xanax for that length of time without ever telling her the risks of becoming dependent on this medication. She is off of them now and in her 70's, which she may not have lived to be had she continued seeing this doctor due to his lack of concern for the danger of addiction and lack of knowledge that suddenly stopping this drug can be FATAL! Her new doctor tapered her off gradually and now she no longer takes anything dangerous like this. Dr. Royer treated her like a common drug-seeking addict when it was HIM who refilled this prescription for YEARS. I wouldn't trust him with the health of any of my family members - I've seen other reviews and now I see that this isn't an isolated incident. After all those years of getting her addicted, he turned around and treated her like a common drug-seeking addict. She felt deeply hurt and betrayed. BEWARE!

My wife & I have been patients of Dr. Royer’s for 15 years. We have been extremely pleased with the attentive, knowledgeable & high-quality care he provides. He knows his patients & their issues, is very considerate & caring, & is a fine clinician. He actively works to help patients avoid unnecessary expenses! His thorough investigation of an unrelated lab result led to early discovery of my wife’s kidney cancer! He found it before it could spread; it was removed & she is fine. A less-thorough Dr. might have missed it and cost her her life! We see old complaints re: certain office staff/policies from several years ago; staff changes have been made. Office is very pleasant & professionally run. Appointments are timely, with “walk-in” hours reserved for immediate treatment of certain acute problems. New office staff are delightful! We have never had billing, follow-up or other problems. We highly recommend Dr. Royer to our friends & loved ones without any hesitation.

I have been visiting this practice for almost 7 years as needed and find Dr. Royer to be very professional and competent....his staff to be very friendly and accommodating. He takes his time to explain and reassure patients of condition and treatment options. I have complete confidence in both the diagnosis and treatments provided by Dr. Royer for my maladies and medical concerns.

My family has been going to Dr. Royer and Dr. Chin for about 17 years. The ease of getting appts and extremely short wait times are fantastic. They don't make you wait and then rush you out like some doctors. They take time to explain things and get to know you like a doctor should. I highly recommend both of them.

Dr. Royer was fine, but office staff Darla created a circus environment. Seems she cannot handle a simple challenge. No problem solving skills what so ever nor does she give a rats rear. Billing issues, over charging patient's co-pays, fibbing to patients and the list goes on. You can't even carry on a conversation with her because she gets defensive or just doesn't know how to respond to patients. I have three words to describe her - straight out redneck.

In my opinion!!!! BEWARE of this practice!!!!! There was not appropriate follow up after 4 appointments. We were not allowed to speak to provider or clinically trained person(nurse). Told to stop antidepressant meds (cold turkey) by clerk/Dr. Royer even after he told us NOT to stop medicine at first appointment. My pharmacist had to tell me how to taper my son off medicine. Dr just left my son to retreat back into depression with no alternative treatment. Don't chance your loved ones health.
