Waited for 2 hours with my elderly mom. Asked doc if he was gonna see her next, and he get's attitude. Heck don't take my word for it, just read reviews about this clown. Literally we were the only people in the waiting room, then another elderly woman came in, and when i told the doc and the staff 'F' them, the elderly woman said, this is the first time and the last time in this place. My mom needed a biopsy of a growth on her thyroid and their doing some nerve test (i know they just milking the insurance). You wonder why the health care system in this country is so horrible, cause of incompetence like this fool. He needs his license revoked. BEWARE YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!!

PATIENTS BEWARE!!! ZERO STARS!!!I had an appointment the other day with Dr Vargas and what a waste of time. He was rude, confrontational, and lack knowledge when I tried to explain my health status. Most people would say he is a low level doctor. How he became a doctor is a mystery, he must have came from a third world country. There is a reason why he is rated 1.7 on the Google rating system. Glad that is over with.S

Unacceptable wait time. Reception excels at insurance processing and copay payment, quick service. Outdated vital sign measurements by unprepared assistants led to weight miscalculation and incorrect blood pressure reading. Dr. Vargas scolding an assistant reveals lack of preparation. Overheard telehealth consultations expose varying patient treatment. Dr. dismisses others' input, showing disrespect. Dr. jokes with assistants while patients wait. Left abruptly, received a refund. Terrible experience prompts hope for improvement. Found a better endocrinologist, warns others about this subpar place.

Charges for medical procedures that are not required. He constantly pushes these services into you and then refuses to assist without these procedures being done. Very scammy, stay away

This office is shady. They overcharge you, they don’t send you lab orders to your email so that you are obligated to go get it done there so they can charge you. My mom had an thyroid US done and when I called to see if she had a follow up for her initial visit, the girl who answered the phone said no but a card was given to us with the date. If I wouldn’t have called, my mom would not know the results that now she was charged $50 again when they know I questioned the overcharge from the US. The insurance copay was $50 but was charged $114. I was told i would receive a call prior to the follow up to confirm the credit never happened, instead they called to collect another $50 for the follow up.

Despite my telling him about my diagnosis of PCOS, he refused to listen to any of my symptoms or take into consideration the reason for my visit. I have been monitoring my glucose levels since I experienced issues during a previous hospital visit, but he didn't even bother to look at my monitor or check my measurements. When I mentioned a dangerously low glucose level, he suggested it could be normal, even though it is well-known that anything below 70 is dangerous and can lead to severe health issues, including coma and even death. Dr. Vargas seemed more interested in scheduling an ultrasound and giving me a PCOS diagnosis, which I already had, rather than addressing my diabetes concern. He dismissed my concerns about my glucose levels and suggested that my fainting episodes were due to anxiety, despite my telling him that I knew what low blood sugar felt like. He also seemed uninterested in following up on tests that my PCP had referred me for, which was the reason for my visit.

He is rude and arrogant. Unapologetic for his lateness to his patients who are paying for the visit. He is defensive if you make any comments or want to ask questions. He reminds me of these old Cuban doctors my mother went to that solely want to prescribe meds and not offer any options on how to improve your issues. He doesn’t ask anything about how you are eating or exercising just focused on medication. Never has the right notes always quotes different meds and the amount you are using. That tells me he is listening and writing down what he wants. He is overpriced for the services he offers. Let’s not forget his incompetence staff they have his same attitude and don’t listen, return calls and uncooperative to help in any way. How he got his license is beyond me, or perhaps it’s time for him to retire as he doesn’t enjoy what he does nor does he have any interest in his patients. Someone from health services should investigate as he shouldn’t be practicing.

Wait time is three to four hours to be seen by doctor. Doctor is nonchalant when asked about wait time. Staff is rude and unprofessional.

Disappointing. Rude staff. Scheduling js a nightmare. They switched appointments to a time while i was at work and then wanted to charge no site fee because i was at work and no one informed Me they changed appointment without authorization. They just Just want to do blood work and ultrasound of thyroid... and then charge again to get results. Moved to cleveland clinic and i love it there!

The Dr. would not be in the same room with me. I went for Diabetes, but there was little to no conversation of Diabetes. Of course, he was in another room trying to talk to me on my cell phone, which had poor reception. (As I said, he does not want to be in the same room with a patient). He sent me for blood test and a thyroid scan. That's it. And then I had to call to get my blood test results, and they wouldn't give it to me. Said I had to talk to the Doctor first. He is, in my opinion, the worst doctor I have ever seen. I'm amazed he's in practice and hasn't been shut down.

My husband was referred to this doctor for his diabetes and we are so disappointed. The doctor barely heard his situation instead rudely told him the symptoms he had were not of importance. Immediately send him to do blood work and a thyroid Ultrasound instead, which my husband was not there for thyroid problems in the first place. Anyways, day of his Ultrasound appointment he arrived at the time they gave him, but told him he was late. The Ultrasound tech was upset and pressed so hard on my husband throat that he cant swallow. These people are inhumane. What type of office is this? what kind of care are they offering? Im in the helathcare myself and i would never hurt a patient out of anger. People all they care about is insurance money and your copay. Stay away from this office!!!!There are plenty of good caring doctors in the field of medice.

No complaints what so ever about Dr. Vargas or his staff. Yes there is wait but that is anywhere you go, so need to cry about it like other people have complained about it. Patience is a virtue.

The wait was extremly long, waited over an hour and half to see him.

I would love to leave a review but I spent half an hour in a call trying to make an appointment and spent at least 25 min on hold,,,
