I would absolutely recommend Dr. Vorys to my family and friends. He is thoroughly qualified, pleasant and only has the patient's interest in mind--no quick fixes--taking a more conservative approach to the patient's benefit

Misdiagnosed and slow to follow up.

Misdiagnosed my injury and told me that it was not my knee since my x-ray looked fine. I was told to continue with my activities, to work through it. My first step in attempting to “return to my activities” I heard and felt a pop behind my knee requiring meniscal root repair surgery. Which requires a very long recovery and rehab. It can also be unsuccessful. If he had taken into account my activity level and my symptoms he should have sent me for an MRI before discounting my concerns. It is not normal to have posterior knee pain when bending down. Nor is it normal to feel increased pain with certain activities. He never should said to work thru the pain, totally unprofessional and dangerous.

Went to see Dr.Vorys today with SEVERE right knee pain - He's EXCELLENT/PERFECT!!! Now, let me tell you why: He's caring, pleasant, Really listens to you and is Knowledgeable. He told me all of my options for recovery in terms that I Could Understand!! He gave me a shot & prescribed medicine, by the time I left his office, I was already feeling good! I've already referred a friend to him. If you're having issues,go to Him! As far as doctors going on, he's got it all going on!!!

Dr.Vorys thinks before he acts. However, the call center staff at ACP, especially the women believe they can make decisions on behalf of any Dr. So if Dr.Vorys says he wants to see me 10 after my surgery, some of these call center women think they can make the decision to disagree. When they disagree, I then ask them if they can send a message to him telling him he can't see me when he wants to see me. Their beliefs has nothing to do with him. I couldn't ask for a better surgeon.

He was very knowledgeable about my condition and made recommendations based on the information I gave him. He gave me his complete attention as I explained what the problem was. I did not feel rushed and felt he spent enough time discussing my issues. I feel very confident in his abilities with my health. I was finished with my appointment with minimal wait time. There was sufficient street parking and the office was clean. I would definitely recommend him. He made a great first impression.
