The best hand and arm surgeon in Orlando
I have been going to Dr. white since 2001 after another orthopedic doctor did the wrong surgery. Dr. White has a great bedside manner, is calm and soothing when he is talking to you and describing what is wrong in detail. He had corrected two should impingements, two torn tendons, a trigger finger and now a trigger thumb. I also like the PT office he refers me to. He knows the PT therapist by name, which is more than I can say about other orthopedic surgeons can. I refer everyone I know that has any hand, arms, or shoulder problem to.

Simply the Best
Dr. White Is always enthusiastic, professional, spends the time needed to talk about what is bothering the patient, beyond competent in his field of the arm treatment and surgery, from shoulder to fingers. He has performed shoulder surgeries on both shoulders, very successfully, and surgery on my broken arm. Currently he is treating a hand and wrist injury for me that another doctor failed to correct. I actually look forward to my visits with him because he is so pleasant. I could not more highly recommend a doctor.

Nothing wrong with my arm
Nightmare……Dr. White said I needed my arm operated on otherwise I would lose the usage of it..So I let him do the operation and found out there was nothing wrong with my arm. Medicare Told DR. White he did an operation that was not necessary . I suffer to this day with myRight arm thanks to what Dr. White did. I called numerous times and they would not sendMe my records and Dr. White would not return my calls. Medicare told him to refund the money I had paid and he never did.

Dr George White is by far the most exceptional Orthopedic Surgeon in Orlando, for Hand ,Arm and more importantly, Shoulder Surgery- Replacement. Dr White, performed my Shoulder Surgery Reverse Replacement! I cannot begin to express how caring, concerned, and how very grateful I am to have Dr George White, as my Surgeon! ?????????? He has “ Gifted Hands”; as my Surgery was a very favourable experience and outcome! I strongly recommend Dr White for your Hand, Arm , and more importantly, your Shoulder Surgery! I am so very honoured to have this Fine Doctor, perform my Surgery, on my Shoulder. I am healing beautifully, and only taking Ibuprofen for any pain, after working. Thank you so very much Dr George White , for being my Surgeon! You are compassionate, experienced, and have such a wonderful Bedside Manner, for all of your patients. We are so very thankful to have had you, as the BEST SURGEON, in SHOULDER SURGERY, in the ORLANDO AREA of ADVENT HEALTH . Thank you , Dr. White. ! ?????. ??????????

Terrific doctor
Dr. White cared enough for me as a patient that he extended his Friday schedule to stay late to perform surgery. That decision may very well have saved my hand which was badly infected from an accident where I had impaled it on multiple rusted nails. I like his humanity and sense of humor. By the way, that was not my first experience with him and the others were equally good.

He doesn’t take his time to explain the treatment. For records he writes down whatever he feels like, not what’s actually going on. For mine, he put down that he had done a procedure that never happened. Also, he lied invalidating my pain, when I clearly stated where my pain was located .

George white Sr. & Jr. thanks for ruining my grandfather's hand. He went to you with a hand that was still working despite the pain and left with two fingers that he can never use again, my grandfather has been a mechanic his whole life and now simple tasks that he could do by himself he now has to ask for help because he is now handicapped. We were told that this practice was one of the best and it has turned out the be the polar opposite DO NOT GO TO THIS PRACTICE! WOULD GIVE 0 STARS OF I COULD

The telephone schedule receptionist was very rude! She was unwilling to listen and attempted to direct me in the wrong direction. She did not look for an available appointment date and eventually hung up on me. Don't recommend at all !!!!! This is not good for this organization and they will lose business.

Dr. George White is the premier upper-extremity orthopedist in Central Florida and maybe all of Florida. That's why it takes a while to get in to see him. When I needed shoulder surgery, I would have waited however long it took because outcomes depend entirely on the quality and experience of your surgeon. If you need surgery on your shoulder, elbow or hand, he is your guy. I wouldn't let anyone else near me with a scalpel. Period.

I had my first appointment with a PA on Wednesday 6/5/2019 ..I wanted to see Dr. White or his son but was told they were booked 2 months in advance and I could however see his PA..I arrived early to fill out any paperwork..my appointment scheduled at 130pm , at 215pm I asked if it was going to be much longer and was assured it would be a "quick second " ..230pm I asked again and was again told I would be called right away...I had watched the waiting room fill and empty several times and around 10 till 3pm I went to window and cancelled because I had another appointment and still had to drive across town My hand has hurt for a couple of months so I was looking forward to seeing a doctor and treatment..I was disappointed and angry on my first visit to be left for nearly 2 hours ...The staff only offered " I don't know what happened".. I'm not sure if I want to try again , I understand stuff happens but this was not a very good first impression..didn't answer Dr. questions..no doctor.

Worse experience every,he literally took my livelihood away from me,he lied said he was going to take 1mm off my collarbone ends up taking more then a inch off,my shoulder has no support and has no stability, and one of his colleagues is about as dumb as he is ,when I came in for concerns because my collarbone was sticking straight up ,said everything looks normal,I’m not a doctor but I can look at a X-ray and see something was not right about this,do not have this place work on you.

I've known Dr. White as a patient for approximately six years and find him to be an amazing Doctor and Surgeon. His bedside manner, professionalism, knowledge &attentiveness sets him apart. He specializes from fingertip to shoulder. I've received injections, therapy and been referred me to the top doctors for other medical treatments. When I get to the point of needing surgery; I will, without a question, go to him! I have referred him to many people!!

General feedback on office in Dr. Phillips. Dr. I saw did not listen to my opening "what issues are you having", jumped to what he thought I had without hearing my symptoms I stated. Was finished with apt and I asked, "what about the pain I'm having, will this help". He then proceeded to state, you have pain? yes, that's what I said at the beginning. Office staff nice, but computer issues that day had the receptionist complaining all morning very loudly for all staff to hear. Very unprofessional
