I found Dr. Karpman to be very knowledgeable and caring. He takes time, answers all your questions and explains things in detail. I feel confident that when he feels something will go away on it's own, to wait and see. So far he has always been right.

Honestly Dr Karpman is everything a good doctor should be. Compassionate. Personable. Punctual. And his office staff runs the practice like clockwork. I love him.

Re His Office: I had very common dermatological issue.Called & confirmed they accepted my insurance, told them what problem was.Yes they said.Got there, paid my copay as part of my insurance.Karpman perfectly pleasant.He said Id have to come back for procedure.They called later and NO they dont accept my insurance.Are they churning for copayments? Doctors either do or DO NOT accept insurance -it isnt 50% otherwise consumers don't stand a chance of knowing for sure if covered? Buyer cant be sure.

This man almost cost me my life. Misdiagnosed me repeatedly, refused to perform a biopsy.

Does not care about your comfort. I had a keloid scar from a heart surgery and went to see him. Suggested steroid injection and I agree. He didn't even ask me to lie down, I remain seated as he injected that steroid. I was in a lot of pain and all he wants is for me to stay put and not move so it'll be over. I was about ready to faint, he didn't care. Very insensitive.
