Great Experience
Great doctor's appointment; thorough, knowledgeable, answered every question, compassionate, and very polite. Office staff were friendly and efficient.

I'm changing doctors
Like many other reviewers, I find him to be dismissive and kind of cold. I never feel actually heard or listened to. He can be condescending and doesn't seem to genuinely care about me as a person or as a patient. He's very conservative and not very holistic. I'm looking for a new doctor.

Dismissive, condescending
He took very little time with me, as a brand new patient. He mostly just read questions off a computer screen. When it was time to discuss a particular health concern, he was not interested in my history with it or what I had already tried as remedies. He didn’t ask me anything about it, and was not interested in what I had to say. Everything he said in that lightning fast exam was either condescending or dismissive of my concerns. He also said any other doctor would 100% agree with him, so no need to seek a second opinion. It was by far the most invalidating doctor’s appointment I’ve ever been to- his presumptuousness coupled with his lack of curiosity in me can only be described as astounding. I only went to him because he was accepting new patients and I needed a new PCP, but I think I’ll keep looking.

Worse experience I’ve ever had
He told me my only issue was that I work from home. He said my one & only job should be to raise kids. He said that If I still have symptoms after I quit my job then to come back and he’d order labs/tests! Mind you that I have elevated cardiac labs that he said weren’t a big deal and didn’t mean anything…How is someone like this still able to practice??

Rude and condescending
He was dismissive of my concerns and made me feel ashamed to be requesting testing for my symptoms. He told me he was sure IU Health would be happy to take my money though, if I wanted testing. He made me feel like I was wasting his time. I had a specific concern and he told me that if I had that condition I was “dead”. I left feeling ridiculed and unheard. This was the worst experience I have ever had with a physician. He also seemed to have zero respect for his employer (IU Health) which I found unprofessional.

Found his behavior rude, inappropriate, demeaning, and offensive. Does not try to find the cause of your problem instead compares you to his wife and himself. Very judgemental. Find another doctor - this one is disrespectful to patients - especially female.

Does not take the time to spend with patients. Waits for the illness to show a lot of symptoms before taking actions. A little rude when you double check things

I had a horrible experience with this doctor. He was beyond rude and pretentious. First, he was very unprofessional quoting the bible to explain a concept. Second, I suggested that maybe I was depleted of vitamins, he said that that was hogwash. I told him I felt attacked. He said he could not help me with my anxiety, he did not order any blood test and after 10 minutes he was done. Worst experience ever.
