Dr. Gerald Mullan, MD

I thought that he explained exactly what he was doing and answered all questions in a way that show his understanding of the science and in a way I could understand.

I was real early for my appointment and his staff gave me a complete service where my eyesight and my eyeball were tested, and I was grateful for this. I was in need of a new pair of glasses and because of work schedule am not always available to get my eyesight and my eyes are good. He was able to see me early and told me how my eyes were doing. I did have a small beginning of a cataract in my right eye but told me that it is not affecting my sight and is not worried about it right now. My diabetes may have caused my eyes to go bad if I ignored all the advice I've been given to keep in under control. I have changed my diet and began exercising. He didn't yell at me for not seeing him regularly. He was kind and talked with me in a respectful way. I would recommend this doctor to all my family and friends.

The last week I had an appointment with this Doct at his office in Warren, MI. The appointment was really something surreal and honestly I don't know how he has this high rate (the reason why I chose him). There is no respect of the privacy, the techs talked about my diagnosis with open doors and everyone can hear it. The doct came in only for 5 minutes and leave the lead to their techs. The only thing he gave me was the card with the website link where I can leave the review. I tried to give him a second chance, contacting him through myChart but he never replied me back!

Dr Mullan has always explained and answered any question I have asked him. The office personal have always presented themselves in professional manor. The technician are all proficient using the examination equipment keeping things moving in a very efficient manner. I made a mistake on my last appointment showing up on a Monday but a week early. I had made a mistake entering it in my calendar. They were thoughtful enough to ask if I would like to have my exam that day. I was able to start my exam within 5 minutes saving an extra trip the next Monday. They are also good at taking you in on time for your regular scheduled appointments.

Very, very pleasant experience. The staff is stellar, courteous, through, efficient and professional. Dr. Gerald Mullan, like his staff there in Hazel Park, was a pleasant surprise and very impressive. I'd personally recommend anybody to pay them a visit if they are having any type of problems with there eyes or need anything in the ophthalmology area.

Dr Mullan is very passionate on giving care to his patients. He takes his time and is very through in his examinations.

I was referred by my family doctor for a ophthalmology check with Dr. Mullan. I was very impressed with the whole appointment. All the staff were very courteous and helpful. I received a battery of tests which, I believe, the most thorough I have ever had. All were done with professional care. Dr. Mullan took his time with me and I felt that I received the best of care. Did not have to wait like other offices. Very satisfied with my visit.

I went to his clinic in the John R location and the service was friendly and attentive. This is my second time visiting Dr. Mullan and I have no complaints. Definitely would recommend!!!

Dr. Mullan is very knowledgeable and listens to you and his office has up to date equipment. I am very pleased with the service.

All of the Techs were very professional and helpful. I felt like my exam was very thorough. Diabetes screening and the affect that blood pressure could have on my eyes were all discussed with me. Dr. Milan uses all up to date technology but he also spent a lot of time looking directly in my eyes as well as the other optical pictures and pressure testing. I didn't feel like my appointment was being rushed to get to the next person, like other places I've been to.

I have only recently been cared for by Dr. Mullan, at the Opthamology office that I have been going to for years. He was kind, caring, very clear to understand, and extremely thorough. (The other drs in the office are great as well, but this was my first experience with him) That means a lot to me as a patient, because when you can trust your dr., you are in good hands. I would recommend him highly to anyone looking for an eye Dr.

He looked over the preliminary tests the tech did and said, "Everything looks good," and started to leave the room. He then turned around and said, "I guess I should examine your eyes." He ended up writing a wrong prescription. My glasses provided called his office. It took them a week to return the call and another week for the doctor to respond. He said the prescription was correct, so the glasses were made, and were wrong. His office tried to called it a "typo". I was out over $270.
