Construction Accident
I cut my thump off in a construction accident in Dec 1982. Dr. Rupp was the doctor called from emergency room at the hospital. The thumb was completely severed between two joints and into my hand from the accident. I thought I would never be the same again. Dr. Rupp showed up, took me directly into surgery, and two days in the hospital later, I left the hospital with my thumb still attached. Forty years later and I'll never be able to repay him for saving my thumb and career. The surgery went better than I could have ever expected, Dr. Rupp was an absolute Godsend. And I will forever be indebted to him.

Dr Rupp was fine, however, make sure to ask and what they charge you for walking boots and probably other prosthetics . Got a bill for over $300 when same product is less than $100 on-line. I called to discuss and both people I spoke to were not able to help even after I told them I would post my thoughts on-line to hopefully help others.
