Dr. Sacks helped me so much with my headaches.
Telehealth
I’ve been a patient of Dr. Sacks for several years now, and I’m so glad to have found him. I used to suffer from terrible migraine headaches two, maybe three times per week. I had been to many other specialists and tried all of the standard headache remedies. They either didn’t work all that well or gave me terrible side effects. When I finally found Dr. Sacks, he took a different approach and assessed me as an individual rather than just going through the usual motions. He helped me find a unique combination of meds that really help and with minimal side effects. The headaches used to be disabling, but now I’m able to function much better with very little disruption to my daily activities. I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Sacks to any headache sufferer looking for a fresh and innovative way to address their condition.

Excellent Pain Management Doctor
When my daughter had surgery at St. John's Providence Hospital, Dr. Sacks was her pain management doctor during her recovery. He met with her daily, sometimes in person and sometimes online. He was extremely knowledgeable about the medication options and was able to select the right mix in light of her complicated health issues. He not only helped manage her pain while she was hospitalized but he also helped provide medications and a plan to get her back home and eventually weaned off of the pain medications as her body healed. Lastly, Dr. Sacks found unique solutions to getting the medications needed within my budget. I highly recommend Dr. Sacks for post-operative pain management.

The BEST Doctor for Legitimate Pain
Telehealth
Dr. Sacks is the real deal, a doctor who has the experience and learning to know what he is doing - don't mess with him. Since the so-called 'Opioid Crisis', people who are experiencing legitimate pain from legitimate medical conditions have gotten screwed, and Dr. Sacks knows it. The government has taken really effective pain meds off the market and doctors are terrified to prescribe opiates, and rightly so. The government has come in and shut down legitimate doctors' practices because they prescribe opiates 'too liberally'. It is a tricky time to be an expert in pain management, but Dr. Sacks does it shrewdly, and with intelligence and experience. If you really have a medical condition that involves pain, Dr. Sacks can help you. If you are trying to score drugs for fun, don't even try it here. He is too smart for you.

In September of 2022 I had severe sepsis, I was miserable in pain. Dr. Sacks came in and helped me, he came in every day to make adjustments as I needed. Since September, Dr. Sacks calls me every 1-2 weeks to check up on me and help me with other issues I have. Dr. Sacks has helped with my migraines, along with going above and beyond what any doctor has ever done for me. Dr. Sacks wrote me a prescription for 2 different meds. The pharmacy called to tell me that insurance denied them, a few hours later they called back to tell me Dr. Sacks coved the meds and did whatever it took for me to get those. I have had my endocrinologist cancel my life dependent medicine for no reason. The only doctor I could get ahold of was Dr. Sacks, he helped with giving me new endocrine doctors to call to get help. If I am in the ER, I ask for my primary and Dr. Sacks to know because Dr. Sacks IS that doctor who shows up for you when you need a doctor in your corner. Other doctors have just written me opioid prescriptions, which I hate taking, so I never get the prescription filled, staying in pain. Dr. Sacks has helped me find other meds that won't make me drowsy, high, or change anything but the pain. This way I can take care of my daughter and go to work and still be able to take my meds. I cannot say enough good about Dr. Sacks. He came into my life when I needed him the most, and he never gives up on his patients who really need him. If you are lucky enough to have Dr. Sacks, you will see what I am talking about.

Dr. Sacks is difference-maker
I am a chronic pain patient of Dr Sacks for well over a decade and his twice-monthly injections are the difference between disruptive, continuous ache, pain and functionality in my professional and personal life. Dr Sacks has also made proactive recommendations to ensure no other factors are in-play with my health situation, so he really looks out for my best interests. The office is well-organized, well-managed, clean, quiet and efficient. Strong recommendation.

Dr.sacks is pretty wonderful! He knows his stuff and is one of the only pain specialist that has ever stood up for me post op with hospital staff! He has continually made efforts to help me , guide me and make sure I feel taken care of. I suffer from a multitude of chronic illnesses and unbearable pain, and he has always made every effort to help and try find the proper combination of medications. Never has he made feel pushed or terrible like I was an addict as with many other doctors over the years. If you’re looking for narcotics this is not the place, and as someone who spent nearby a decade on them, I know there are alternatives. Pain management is complex and it’s always great to have someone actually willing to help in your corner. Thank you Dr. Sacks!

My partner went to Dr Sacks in agonizing pain from a very rare condition. Three other doctors had told him they didn’t know what was happening. Dr Sacks was the first to explain what had happened and prescribe a course of treatment. A few weeks later, my partner is doing so much better. We’re incredibly grateful to Dr Sacks; he is patient, empathetic, and a truly great doctor.

I have experienced chronic back pain for years. After suffering in pain for weeks due to a flare up, I was referred to Dr. Saks. He is INCREDIBLE! He understood exactly what I was experiencing and put me on a pain medicine regime that addressed each of my symptoms. He also educated me on pain and explained how each medication would affect me (something I feel few doctors do). Later on, I was hospitalized due to a disc herniation. I was admitted to the emergency room. Dr. Saks contacted the emergency room doctors and ensured that I was receiving adequate care and worked with the hospital doctors to make sure that the pain regime the hospital put me on was correct in addressing my pain. Dr. Saks checked in with me throughout my 8 day hospital stay and when I was discharged ensured that the medicines I was put on were correct. I cannot speak more highly of Dr. Saks and recommend him to anyone experiencing chronic pain.

Dr. Sacks is the first doctor I’ve seen to actually suggest that there may be an underlying reason for my problem. He truly cares about his patients. This was my first time seeing him and it definitely won’t be the last! I’ve dealt with so many heartless doctors, it’s so nice finding one who truly cares. If you see this Dr. Sacks, I thank you so much for giving me hope again!

office is very efficient and pleasant. Dr. Sacks explains treatments with expertise and plain talk...Personable and expert with his diagnosis and treatment. He is the only Doctor able to help me with my back and leg pain after my 4th back surgery, where two other doctors could not. It is rare to find a doctor who has helped control my pain so well and with such grace. I recommend him to anyone who is in my situation and needs help as I did.
