Dr. Ghanem Abusbeih, MD

I saw him in the ER and was well pleased with the care that he provided and would recommend him to anyone

Dr. Abusbeih is currently an emergency room Doctor at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston MO. My husband went in because he has Sickle Cell anemia, and he was in pain. This "Doctor" told the Nurse that my husband could not be in pain because he was on his phone. My husband was informing his mother that he was being sent home. But because he was texting his mother that means he could not be in any pain. He then proceeded to as my Husband "How much more pain medicine do you need to go home on?" This doctor should not be practicing medicine for any Emergency Room as he clearly does not know that people handle pain differently, nor does he care to answer questions unless someone raises their voice to speak over him after he has cut the patient or family members off. He refuses to give information that is requested by the patient. Missouri Delta has some very amazing doctors but this "Doctor" is NOT one of them, he should be reprimanded immediately by the board.

My mother came to the ER Friday, August 20, 2021 due to rectal bleeding at home that morning after a hospital stay in Salem, MO for the same reason that same week. My mother tested positive for COVID in the ER and I was told to leave. Dr. Abusbeih called me later and was going to release her and I asked what if she bleeds again and he said she wouldn't!!! Well she was admitted and she has bled twice this morning (8/22/21). I was asking for a professional answer to my question and got an answer that was not. How could he say she wouldn't bleed again? Dr.abusbeih is really kind of doctor and understand his patients. He have experience for a long time in emergency room. I would recommend him to anyone especially my friends and family.
